Texas, USA@JessicaSix the reason yours is a blue boot-up screen is because it is a PAL dreamcast. all NTSC dreamcasts boot-up red and all PAL dreamcasts boot-up blue. if your boot-up is red some of the time, it is because you have a modified dreamcast.
@TheKombatKing yes, but the only rules that will be changed are the N64 rules. however; I will have to download all the runs and frame by frame them first before i can change them. thank you for reminding me, i will be doing this today and will be finished by tomorrow hopefully.
@zen_aku forgive me, i did not want to bother you and felt that it would be easier for you to read the forum. please explain what is not making sense to you about the any% category. if you wish for it to be deleted then so be it. but just know that the any% category is the only category that can generate the ABSOLUTE FASTEST time that can possibly exist.
if you all want to go back to psone then we will all go back to psone. but that means all of gameglitchguys runs will be rejected and stripped from the leaderboard and 2 of my runs will be replaced with the older runs done on the psone. plain and simple. but as far as im concerned, the more players on the leaderboard, the better. so keeping gameglitchguy on the leaderboard is what we want. so in that respect you could say that the leaderboard is more about collecting players and less about collecting fans.
we were using a psone until you came in and started using a ps2 and trying to hide it. we discovered that you were using a ps2 so I then decided to use a ps2 also. you started this, not us. all of my runs show the bootup screen for the psone, showing that it was being used. however, you did not show your bootup screen. although you did show your bootup screen for your MK trilogy runs on the psone. your MK4 runs were cut but from a 4 hour video which did not include bootup either. we have solid evidence that you were using a ps2 for your MK4 runs and a ps2 naturally plays the games faster than a psone even when they are set to normal disk speeds.
@kirkq: I was actually the one who typed 1 second in for my time to see if the moderator was actually going to verify it. i am definetly going to change this time to the correct time now of course. just letting you know so that no one thinks there are any bugs like this.
i would like to moderate indiana jones and the infernal machine. there are no rules written for this game. i submitted a speed run for this game 22 days ago but it has still not been verified. there is no way to message the current moderator because he does not have any links. i have left a message in the infernal machine forums but the moderator never answered.

timing rules changed for the playstation categories. times were changed to accommodate new rules using frame by frame software; however, zen_aku95's and Tsheffield23's runs of arcade novice were penalized and were given a time that was 8 seconds slower than the originals that were submitted. this was done because the original videos did not show the start times of the tower selection. 8 seconds is approximately how long the loading times take between the tower selection and the first level screen to load.
rules have been re-written. the rules have not been changed, only written better. however, once i frame by frame all the runs and get all the precise times, i will change the timing rules for the level runs, (excluding the arcade) to start the time at tower selection. the arcade and full game categories are already set with this rule. it will take some time to change the timing on all the other categories because there are already runs on them.
endurance fatality% was removed because it is impossible to perform a fatality on endurance mode.
I would like to become a moderator for Mortal Kombat Gold. I am the top runner for this game. The current moderator is lacking in his expertise for this game. If he was not, he would not have made the mistake of creating categories that are impossible. For example, a runner absolutely cannot perform fatalities in endurance mode, it is impossible, yet there are categories and rules for this. These are broken categories with broken rulesets. I have contacted this moderator through twitch and through the Mortal Kombat 4 forum here but he has not responded to me in over a week, although he has verified my runs throughout this week. This is ignorance. I would like to become a moderator so that I may clean up this leader board and rid it of impossible categories. If my request is granted, I can help the current moderator eliminate errors and keep this leader board accurate. The current moderator will also gain my full attention and respect, for he was the creator of this leader board. Thank you.

I am looking to submit my runs to other website leaderboards as well which Is why I come to you with a request. as you may or may not know, there is a website called twingalaxies.com. this website has copied your rulesets for Mortal Kombat 4 and Mortal Kombat Gold. however, the tracks are locked and cannot be accessed. which means no-one can submit a run for them. I was curious to know how you felt about this. If you were ok with your rulesets being used at another website, I would like to have them unlocked. if you are not ok with this, I understand and the tracks will remain locked. I am having to ask permission from you to unlock them because the owner of Twingalaxies states that this must be done in order to unlock the tracks. If your decision is to have them unlocked, You must contact Jace Hall via email here. jace@twingalaxies.com and state that you are a moderator at speedrun.com and that you want the tracks that you moderate to be unlocked. this is the only way to do this. please grant access to these tracks if you feel that it is not disrespectful, offensive or opposing to you so that i may submit my runs to their leaderboard as well.
