Why isn't Wii via USB Loader, etc. allowed? I mean, there are some people who wanna speedrun this game like me and we don't have the resources to buy a Gamecube and this game which costs more than 60$ where i live and i can't afford that. If someone answers this, i would be really happy if i could ever run this game... i mean... just think about the USB Loader, etc. as an advantage, not a banned tool. Thanks.

To put it shortly, USB loader and other similar means of launching TTYD are banned because they aren't official releases of the game. Not only that, but they offer a huge advantage on the grounds of unofficial hardware, which is why they won't be allowed for runs submitted to this leaderboard.

Loading from a USB Loader allows the game to run a lot faster than normal. Examples of this are little to no lag, and much faster loading times when going through loading zones. These examples alone can easily save you over 10 minutes in a run. Because of this, all USB Loaders and their equivalents are banned.

Unfortunately, if you want to run the game you have to buy an official disc. The good thing is the game doesn't cost too much on Amazon/Ebay. Also you don't have to buy a Gamecube to run the game. You can use your Wii for Gamecube games.

We require a disc because it is the only official way to play the game. Additionally, cutscenes and loads are much faster via usb loading. Therefore it is banned
