Speedrunner noob needs help

I've never done a speedrun officially before, so I would like to know what is a no and a yes in speedrunning

I want to speedrun this game on Xbox

but I am doing some things like installing the game to my modded Xbox which cuts load times down to about 3 seconds

and I'm also using a small camera fix that zooms the camera out very slightly in the Xbox port as this port uses vertical stretching to simulate widescreen and it's very nauseating to play without this fix, it modifies nothing else in the game but zooming the camera out slightly, it offers no advantage to gameplay minus a very slightly wider FOV but other than that it modifies nothing else

so in essense I would like some opinions on if this is legal in speedrunning, personally I think it's completely fine as it doesn't affect gameplay in any way, it just fixes an annoying problem with the port

if I can't use these techniques I can play the game straight off disc, although it will be off a burnt DVD-R as the only copy I own is PAL-50hz

I should also note this will be a glitchless speedrun

Hm I don't know how the community would feel about the loading time modification. Loading is a major aspect of the run. I believe the average load time was somewhere around 18 or so seconds although I'm not entirely certain. A minute gained after every 4 levels would result in a ton of time save that would otherwise be unattainable. Also the fastest running version is Wii. Running the game on Wii without a memory card is optimal but has a major risk of the game crashing because of the silly loading glitch. I don't want to stop you from running the game at all though. You could still make unofficial runs or just go for personal bests. It's just really unfortunate loading is the way it is. I feel that loading has discouraged a lot of runners from running the game.

No man, the fastest way is loading it off an Xbox directly, it's near instant loading, it really does only take about 3 seconds, honestly it's stupid to include load times in speed runs anyway cos they can vary so much, for example if someone plays with a scratched to hell disc and someone plays with a brand new disc they are gonna have a massive advantage

also the GameCube port is less than optimal for speedrunning as it has a shit frame rate and the driving stages are outright 30FPS instead of 60
