PAL or NTSC?

Hi, I'm new to the world of speedrunning (hence my account is new), and I wanted to get into this game since I had alot of fun with it casually. I have a question I would like to know before I get to learning and most likely competitive speedrunning, is PAL or NTSC faster, and is PCSX2 allowed? I own a copy of PS2 PAL so I can run on console if the PS2 emulator isn't allowed. I know alot of games reject PCSX2, but I just wanna make sure for this game. Thanks in advance! :D

I think that PAL and NTSC are the same other than the framerate which does not effect the run from what I'm aware. It may make 1 frame tricks more consistent but that's about it. I think emulators are allowed up until your run reaches a certain time (1:50:00) so you're better off running on console even though the game is slow on PS2.

PAL would be a little slower because of the lower FPS, but makes 1 frames easier to hit. Dolphin is much better than PCSX2 because of the broken load times on it, but I would recommend just running on your PS2 anyway

Is it confirmed that PAL has a slower framerate? Because at least on GC most games support 60Hz on PAL, so I would think TSSM would do the same.
