Hi, just wondering, are any stars in the 70 star route that can be replaced by carpetless or is the star too slow to be replaced?

There is no star that could be replaced because every star that's in the route is the fastest for each stage and the only stars that are "slow" are the 4 100c stars you get but you get 2 stars for 100c.

Carpetless is a pretty slow star all things considered. HMC Toxic Maze (even without BLJ), THI Reds, SL Reds, and TTM Monkey (barely) are all faster stars that you could add before Carpetless. Doing CCM 100c with Penguin Race and LLL 100c are also probably faster ways to get extra stars although I haven't done the calc.

As has been stated, Carpetless is far slower than any other star on the 70 Star route as it stands. The route is very optimized time-wise and the chances of carpetless getting fast enough to displace any star in 70 is very slim. I encourage you to look at xcam records for various stars on the top-level 70 route for comparisons to any star you might think it is fast enough to replace.

Also as has been stated, the slowest "stars" are the 100c stars, but all of them are incredibly fast and get 2 stars (WF100, CCM100+Slide, WDW100+Secrets, and TTC100).

So unless someone finds new Carpetless tech that makes the journey to the star faster, there's probably not gonna be carpetless in 70.
