16 stars is the most common answer for what category to start out for speed runners because it's short and way more doable than 1 and 0 stars. If you're completely new to the game, 70 star lets you explore way more parts of the game and you don't have to perform any glitches to complete it. I'm biased and will say go for 120 stars. Explore every bit of the game, every mechanic. If you start off in the short category, it's going to be even harder to get into the long category.
No, definitely do not start with doing LBLJ. Also I would recommend joining the discord server and asking questions in the #gameplay_help channel, will receive answers much quicker there than on this forum.
Another thing, is there an age limit to this site? I'm 11 and I'll delete my account if I'm under aged
You have to be 13 or older to be on discord, SRC (Speedrun.com),and pretty much any social media platform. You can stay here if you want but you won't be allowed in the discord
If you wish to replace your twitch highlights with reuploads, please edit your already verified run rather than deleting the verified run and making a new submission. This makes it a lot easier for us to track which submissions are reuploads and should be less work on your part as well.
