(OUTDATED) SCP guide for Gate A: Ending 1/2 Route Any Seed

Before starting, you should know v0.9.3 is the fastest version to run, because the map is quite smaller, and its harder to get lost.
With that said, lets get started.

This guide consists in 2 checklists (One route each) you should follow to get the wanted final.

Gate A: Ending 1 (Bad ending)

This is the easiest one, the route is very simple:

-Get the gas mask and the level 1 key card.
-Locate and go into the room that contains level 2 key card and s-nav. Take both.
-Locate SCP-914 and upgrade the s-nav to s-nav ultimate and level 1 or 2 key card to key card omni. ¤
-Locate the room between light contaiment zone (Zone where you start) and heavy contaiment zone. (The room is shown in the photo)

-Now you should look for room between heavy contaiment zone and ofice complex. (Like the photo avobe) You have nothing to do in heavy contaiment zone.
-In the offices, you have to access the electrical center. Then turn the door control switch.

-Finally find the Gate A and go up in the elevator. In final cutscene you should see SCP-106 apearing.

¤To get the key card omni, there are two ways:
-Faster/Risky: Putting SCP-914 in Very Fine, should give you the omnicard (1:3 / 33% failure)
-Slower/Safe: Putting SCP-914 in Fine, repeat the process until it give you the omnicard (0:1 / 0% failure)

Gate A: Ending 2 (Good ending)

The task that makes this route harder is to contain SCP-106.

-Get the gas mask and the level 1 key card.
-Locate and go into the room that contains level 2 key card and s-nav. Take both.
-Locate SCP-914 and upgrade the s-nav to s-nav ultimate and level 1 or 2 key card to key card omni. ¤
-Locate the room between light contaiment zone (Zone where you start) and heavy contaiment zone.
-In heavy contaiment zone you must
	·Find the SCP-106 room and contain it.
	·Find the SCP-096 server room (Shown in the photo) and turn the lever "Generator" and the lever "Main"

[OUTDATED AND BAD] Get Level 5 Key card 100% from SCP-914

Alright, I'm guessing you hate SCP-049 as much as I do.

Remember that Euclid and Keter difficulty chances are different and worse.

Here's what you have to do:

Step 1: Level 2 Key card on Fine --> Level 3 Key card

Step 2: Level 3 Key card on Fine, right before it finishes, save. When it is not level 4 Key card load the game.

Step 3: Level 4 Key card on fine --> 100% Level 5 Key card

[OUTDATED AND BAD] Walk through walls, the ceiling, and floor, become SCP-106

Step 1: Save

Step 2: Load

Step 3: Press any key and your save button at the same time

Step 4: Repeat until your into the ceiling, don't go too high

Step 5: Find an area to drop down, there are very few of these areas and can be hard to find

Step 6: Go low to the point where you are about around halfway through the floor

If you want to go back to your original height, simply save and load like normal

Try to find useful exploits for this glitch and try to share it with other people

[Part 1] Guide for Speedrunning the Legacy Any% category in SCP: Containment Breach

This guide is a work-in-progress and may or may not be updated as time passes on. 

This is Part 1 (Any%) of 3 guides for speedrunning Containment Breach. 

Runs are done of v0.9.3 of the game. Note that after every two times that you load a map, whether you load a game from the main menu or when you start a new run, the game will always crash. 

Part 1: Any% (Set Seed)

General Tips- Try to never run out of sprint. When your stamina meter is low feather your sprint by repeatedly tapping your sprint key.  

For all Any% runs use the seed "118271135". This is currently the fastest known seed that lets you beat the game the quickest. Map for this seed is here ------ https://imgur.com/a/P3DXrl2

General Steps for all Any% categories:

Step 1: When you first spawn into the game, run forward into the next room and hang to the right. If you keep walking forward you should see the Level One Keycard on your left (optional), and the gas mask on a shelf to your right. Grab both items and then proceed to the next room, also known as the Light Testing Chamber. Normally, this room can only be opened with the Level One Keycard, but you can skip opening the door and just grab the Level Two Keycard straight through the wall. https://imgur.com/a/pFg48oR After this, proceed to SCP 914.

The reason the Level One Keycard has "(optional)" next to it is because you do not need to grab it, but grabbing it will increase your chances of getting an Omni Card from SCP 914 since you are trying to get the omni from either of two keycards and not only one keycard.

Step 2: After you open the doors to SCP 914, immediately go over to 914, set it to very fine, and the turn the key to turn on the machine. After that, go over to the intake door of 914. Wait for it to close, push up against the door and then drop your two or three items (Level One Keycard, Level 2 Keycard, and the Gas Mask). Note that when you drop items on top of one another they usually tend to move far away from where you actually drop them. To help reduce this problem, drop the gas mask first, and the keycard(s). 

Once you have dropped all the items, head over to the Output door of SCP 914. Get ready to pick up your items before the output door even opens (since you can pick up items through walls in this version, you can just wait for the items to teleport to the output section and not have to wait for the door to open). 

Step 3: Follow the route through the rest of Light Containment and through Heavy Containment. In the Entrance zone you want to trigger the MTF before going to the Electrical Center. You want to do this because if you don't, they will be blocking a doorway towards the end of Entrance Zone, making you unable to complete the run. 

When you enter the Entrance Zone, there are three ways you can go: left, straight, and to the right. There are also two different spots in Entrance Zone that trigger the MTF to spawn, which is near the door to the right of the electrical center, and the door that is straight in front of you when you enter the Entrance Zone. Trigger the MTF to spawn by going straight after you walk into Entrance Zone. After you hear them spawn, go to the electrical center and turn off remote door control. After that, follow the route to get to Gate A.

Gate A Ending 1: To get Ending 1 for Gate A, the only requirement needed is that the remote door control system is turned off in the elecitrcal center, located in the Entrance Zone. Follow the steps in "General Steps for all Any% Categories". Route: https://imgur.com/a/8ZaGm0k Follow the red line. The red numbers are "checkpoints" during the run. 

Gate A Ending 2: This ending is a rather stupid one. The only two requirements to get this ending are that SCP 106 is contained (or deactivated) and that the remote door control is turned off. I say that this ending is a stupid one because you can get Ending 2 without actually containing SCP 106. 

When you contain SCP 106, the game puts him in a "deactivated" state. Sometimes while playing, SCP 106 will be put into a "deactivated" state, even if you have not actually contained SCP 106. There is currently no truly known way of deactivating 106 without containing him. There are currently only four runs that get Ending 2 without containing SCP 106.

Gate B Ending 1: The requirement for this ending is to turn off the remote door control, go back into Heavy Containment and talk to SCP 079, go back into Entrance zone and turn back on remote door control and then exit through Gate B. Part 2: Random% (Random Seed)

In this version of Containment Breach, there is a slight chance that the Electrical Center located in the Entrance Zone may not spawn into the map. Unfortunately, there is no fix to this bug. If the electrical center does not spawn, your run is 100% dead, since the Eletrical Center is needed for all four endings of Containment Breach. 

Gate A Ending 1: To get Ending 1 for Gate A, the only requirement needed is that the remote door control system is turned off in the elecitrcal center, located in the Entrance Zone.

Gate A Ending 2: Same requirements as Gate A Ending 1, except that SCP 106 must be contained manually. 

Gate B Ending 1: The requirement for this ending is to turn off the remote door control, go back into Heavy Containment and talk to SCP 079, go back into Entrance zone and turn back on remote door control and then exit through Gate B.

Gate B Ending 2: This ending has the exact same requirements as Gate B Ending 1, except that you need to turn on the nuke in the nuke silo room.

[Part 3] Guide for Speedrunning the 100% category in SCP: Containment Breach

This guide is a work-in-progress and may or may not be updated as time passes on.

This is Part 3 (100%) of 3 guides for speedrunning Containment Breach.

There are two different sub-categories for the 100% category. Those are Post v1.3.6 and Pre v1.3.6

To successfuly finish a run in either category, you must unlock every single achievement in the achievements menu in the pause screen. 

In Post v1.3.6, you should finish the game with 37/36 achievements unlocked.
In Pre v1.3.6 you should finish the game with 36/35 achievements unlocked.

Post v1.3.6 means that runs are only allowed to be done on versions 1.3.7 to 1.3.11.

Pre v1.3.6 means that runs are allowed to be done on versions 1.1 to 1.3.3. Versions 1.3.4, 1.3.5, and 1.3.6 are not allowed to be used in speedrunning this category, as there is an achievement in the game that is not unlockable due to a bug. 

The 100% category is split into two sub-categories because of the "Survival in a Nightmare Achievement", which means to beat the game on keter difficulty. This achievement was only added to the game in v1.3.7. 

Runs done on v1.3.7 and above must be played on keter difficulty.

Runs done on v1.1 to v1.3.3 can be done on any difficulty. 

You are encouraged to use v1.3.9 for the Post v1.3.6 category, as we have found a pretty good seed for speedrunning. Note that if you use a different version, other than v1.3.9, the map might not be the same
as if you were playing on v1.3.9. 

You are also encouraged to use v1.3.3 for the Pre v1.3.6 category, as there is also a good seed for speedrunning. Similar to the paragraph above, using a version other than v1.3.3 may result in the map being completely different than v1.3.3's map.

The seed that is encouraged for Post v1.3.9 is "2zf61th1", along with version 1.3.9.

Please note that you do not have to use the recommended seed for either of the two categories. In older versions of the game, there is a very high chance that a random seed will not spawn with everything needed in order to 100% the game. The seed for Pre v1.3.6 used on v1.3.3 took hours to find, only because the game would not spawn in things like the "Butt Ghost" toilet, SCP 178, and even sometimes, SCP 079. If you want to find a better seed, be prepared to wait hours until you find one that includes everything needed for 100%.

General routes are up to you to make, as a standard route can easily be broken due to SCP 106.

**OUTDATED** SCP guide for Gate A: Ending 1 Route (WR seed)

This is a guide to Speedrun SCP Containment Breach: Gate A Ending 1.

Until a new seed is discovered, you should run the game on version 0.9.3 using the seed e69cs8k and following these steps.

(Edit)This is a recomended method, you can run in the version and seed you want! I only give you a known route!
(Edit again OpieOP ) After some reseach, 0.9.3 is the faster version to run. The SCP facility in newer versions is larger and is more easy to get lost. (And the route changes too.)

Once you start the game, you should press on new game and set the game like is shown in the picture. (You have to pick a name)

The time starts at the same time than you press any key after loading.

Let's talk about routing:

As you can see in the actual WR (25/4/16) the runner knows the position of everything in the map and saves very often, you should do this too.

When you leave the first room, you will find a corridor, go into the room at the left of the corridor and take:

-Gasmask (Optional)
-Keycard (Level 1)
-Battery

Then, go back to the corridor and go straigh the next room.

This room is a "T" room, you must go straight (Try to not get stuck with the body)

The fourth room is also a corridor, here you want to enter the right room with the keycard, once there, go into the left room (with the keycard too) and grab the Level 2 Keycard and the S-Nav, You may see here SCP-173, so once you grab them, walk backwards and close the door to prevent it following you. Back in the corridor, move along to the next room.

The next room is a "T" room go to the left. After a corridor, you'll find another "T" room, you should go forward until seventh room, then turn right. If your mathematics worked properly (Kappa) you should find SCP-914.

Once there, (you maybe want to close the doors to slow SCP-173) you want to leave in the input:

-Keycard Level 1
-Keycard Level 2
-S-Nav

Put SCP-914 in Very Fine and turn it on while praying for an omnicard.
With luck you should get at least an omnicard, another omnicard or a master card (literally) and a S-Nav Ultimate. In the time between upgrading the items, you maybe want to take the medkit shelf at the right.

When you are done upgrading your items, you want to backtrack the seven rooms (until the "T" when you started to count to seven before) and go left, go forward until you find a Heavy Contaiment door like is shown in the image.

After crossing it, close the door and save the game (Strongly recommended).

Introduce the Omnicard in the slot and take the left corridor. Continue forward until a fork, then, go left. You'll find another fork, go left again.

Get down to the maintenance tunnel by the elevator, and take out the S-Nav Ultimate to keep an eye on SCP-173 and SCP-106. In tunnels there is a high chance of spawn of these SCP.

In tunnels, go always to the left (Be carreful with SCP-173 and SCP-106!!) and go into the elevator. At the bottom of the elevator you should go to the left, then, go forward.

If you are going in the good path, you will see SCP-513 room. Go inside, and forward starting from the hole in the wall. (Here there is a chance of spawning of SCP-173)

After the gas room, go left and go downstairs. At the bottom, go upstairs by the stairs that should be in front of you. At the top, go into the left room. You will find a tunnel, go forward. Then, there is a transition room, use the omnicard again and go on.

You've found the offices!! This is the last part!!

Go forward, you will find a corner room. Go into the electronic center using the Omnicard. Once there, you want to turn the "remote door control" labeled lever. Go back to the corner room and go on again. In that room, you will find SCP-173 (very often) one last time.

Cross the room without stop looking at SCP-173, go upstairs and go through the door in the right. In the next corridor be carreful with the sparks and the guard.

Go forward until a cross room ("+") (In the right side there is a bank.) turn left. Go forward, eventually you'll find Gate A. When you press the button in the elevator, time stops. You've beaten the game!! :D

Hello everyone ! This is me, Fallnight44, a new French Canadian Speedrunner at SCP CB and today I want to show you a trick that I practice some time and can remove some times in your timer ! 

Did you always wanted to do SCP-914 really fast, not lose 30 secondes to 1 minutes with him ? Well now I will show you how to use SCP-914 in only 15 seconds (Depends of you)

First of all, enter the SCP-914 left chamber in go in the back of it ¤I know my english suck, I will show some screenshot to help you¤

How to Start Speedrunning SCP: Containment Breach.

Step 1: Download v0.9.3 of Containment Breach from here ----> https://www.indiedb.com/games/scp-containment-breach/downloads/scp-containment-breach-v093

Step 2: Download Livesplit ----> https://livesplit.org/

Step 3: Download the SCP: CB autosplitter script ----> https://www.speedrun.com/scpcb/resources. It's called "Autosplitter".

Step 4: Open Livesplit, right click the window that pops up and hit "Edit Splits" Make sure you only have 4 splits.

Step 5: Right click on your split window and hit "Edit Layout". Hit the big "plus" button, then "scriptable autosplitter". Double click on the scriptable autosplitter and hit "browse". Find the script file that you downloaded in Step 3. 

(Optional Step)- If you are getting Memory Access Violations, download the 4gb patch tool under "resources" and select the containment breach application. 

Now you should be able to run Containment Breach with the autosplitter. All categories have guides located in the "Guides" section on the left of the screen.

SCP Containment Breach Pass Through The Walls Bug (No Mod or Console)

First:Escape SCP-173's room while SCP-173's attack.
Second:Go back to room's bottom right.
Third:Run back from room's bottom right.

Seed "6" - Keter 100% guide

# **Disclaimer:**

This seed is a common D-tier seed where you cannot easily access SCP-914, HCZ rooms and gates. Final run time mostly depends on player's luck at Omni card, and current WR can be beaten on basically every seed. I run seed "6" on version 1.3.11 because I am too lazy to type the same seed every reset and to find such complex routes on other seeds (and especially on older versions of the game).

# **Route analysis:**

**Pros:**

- Player collects important loot before entering SCP-914 chamber (NVGs, hand, MT password);

- SCP-500 spawns right next to MT elevator;

- Buggy SCP-049 spawns.

**Cons:**

- Looooong way back to SCP-914;

- Unavoidable and kinda aggressive SCP-966s;

- MTF units block both exits.

**SCP-173 behavior:**

You better pray.

Although SCP-173 is acting as usual, he almost 100% spawns at these locations:

- SCP-939 elevator (if player has visited Archive room next to elevator);

- room3 next to MT;

- Almost every checkpoint on the route;

- Top floor of electrical center;

- SCP-106 and SCP-079 rooms.

As for SCP-106 room, player has to keep in mind that SCP-106 and SCP-079 chambers have an intersection that allows SCP-173 to easily travel between rooms.

Bonus trick: after visiting WCs you can find SCP-173 at nearby room3 junction. Player is able to bait him into distracting MTF units and then proceed to exits.

**Keycards:**

The more keycards collected by player - the better chances to get Omni card. Along the way player can collect these keycards:

- K1 from closets;

- 2 coins from wallet (optional);

- K2 from testroom 2B;

- 2 cards from Archive room;

- Another card from Archive room;

- K1 from SCP-970 corridor;

- K4 from SCP-049 chamber;

- K5 from SCP-106 chamber;

- K5 from main office;

- K3 from coffin;

- K3 from shaft room (optional).

At the point where player returns back to SCP-914, player has 31 achievements and a ~10% chance to get Omni at first try.

**Extra items to loot:**

- NVGs from SCP-939 storage. Upgrade them to blue NVGs (especially if you’re afraid of SCP-173);

- Hand from SCP-939 storage (allows to open SCP-049 biometric lock),

- One battery from closets;

- Cup from SCP-970 corridor (player has a chance to convert it to extra keycard in SCP-1162 hole);

**Time management advices:**

- Use SCP-1123 or SCP-035 cutscenes to calc Dr Maynard's password (instead of picking up the page from PD);

- Grab SCP-1499 after visiting SCP-1162 hole;

- Shock SCP-106 on the way back to SCP-914;

- Use PD warp back to HCZ if you have bad luck at Omni;

- Use SCP-173 to distract MTF units.

# P.S.

I really want to encourage people to find new skips and fun routes. This seed is D-tier overall and this shows that Keter 100% WR can be beaten on any good seed. But if you want to try out seed "6", you can also use my walkthrough as manual
