okay so by pausing inside of a "sidescroller" section every 5 seconds, loads next zone in.... how does this speed up runs? You would still have to ride the full elevator journey. Or are you saying that once the next area is loaded, you hit the restart option to load into that area without riding the elevator?

I've tried this on the Xbox Series X and doesnt seem to have any improvement on the speeds, what Lifts were these done on? the only one that takes a decent chunk of time is the Doll house lift. cheers

@Razorable I would imagine the only lifts something like this would be useful on would be the doll house ones indeed and maybe the lift going up to and down from Moreau to collect the part of Rose... possibly the lift thing going down at the ritual site when you've placed down the Giants Chalice and the one in Dimi's castle after you get your hand back? the only things worthy of being called a "lift" in my opinion

The one, when you got your Hand back, is more like a cut scene i think, cause Ethan repairs him self
