- is there any reliable unpowered composite/svideo splitters that don’t lose quality
- i have an svideo cable for n64 that doesn’t have the yellow composite cable. Will it work fine or do i need the official one 3)is there any lag from the audio in amarec? If i were to use headphones but don’t have a line in port would listening to the audio from Amarec have any lag?
I also forgot to add, does the type of cables I use to go from the splitter to the tv matter? Can they just be generic? (I’m trying to get the best looking svideo setup I can)
I don't use n64 personally but have knowledge in the world of video outputs so i could help. so do you want to split the svideo signal or convert it to composite then split the video signal
1, powered splitters are recommended for svideo, i think with composite you can just use a splitter but a powered one is recommended
2, off brand svideo cables can be fine, ive heard some of them aren't great or pined out properly though but i dont know the difference
- amarec audio definatly has a bit of lag, i listen through a line in port but you could listen through a headphone jack if you have one
