I don't think this has been brought up anywhere else, correct me if I'm wrong. Anyways, I was thinking we should all make an agreement on where runs actually start from now on. I always started the timer when I first move Mario on W1 map. This allows for faster restarts because you don't have to watch the cutscene everytime.
Basically, you just start a new file, watch the cutscene, and never save and that file will always start right after the cutscene.
I know the SMW community starts when you first gain control of Mario so that what I do. I've noticed people here do this more now but what do you guys think?
Oh...I always started my timer right after I push the first button after the main menu comes up. xDD
I'm pretty sure that this is pretty clearly stated everywhere and is already the case... Is there any other reason for this forum post?
