I am looking into speed running Crash on PC. My operating system is stored on an SSD, while Crash is stored on an SSHD.
My question is should I pick SSD or HDD? I'm thinking SSD but I'm not sure for submission wise.
Hard drive type refers to whatever Crash specifically is stored on.
Pretty much what JHobz said. My OS is on an HDD but I recently bought an external SSD to store Crash on, so load times would be better. So any PC run I submit from now on would have SSD as the Hard Drive Type.
Ah, I thought it was a typo. I'd assume SSD should still be selected then. If someone's using a filter, it'd be better to compare it to the faster drives than the slower.
Yeah I'm sorry for the confusion on that. I'll select SSD then in the meantime. I was unsure as to which option to pick when I have Crash installed on a SSHD and that wasn't available on the submission page.
Thanks :D
As of February 20th, 2025, due to Twitch imposing a 100 hour limit of highlights per channel, and the increased possibility of runs being lost in the future as a result, Twitch highlights are no longer accepted as proof for submissions.
