so i redownloaded bio2 sourcenext for my new pc and i set the compatibility to win 98 and run as admin and all i get is "failed to initialise Directx (R) i tried dchaps fix but nothing is fixing it anybody know how i can resolve this issue ?

well i just patched the game then did not run it in admin and it works fine and same with the splits OpieOP

i just run the game on the windows 10. i dont make any change for compatibility, and dont need to install any pacth or upgrade. runs well here

try to disable any compatibility settings u made on the .exe. try install nGlide on your windows too. i can run a lot of 3d old games with this plugin on windows 10, 8.1, 7 and XP
