After much consideration we have decided to ban emulator and Virtual Console of all versions from the SM64 leaderboard. We believe this will assist in making our competition fair and consistent.

We have hidden VC and emu from view but will leave them for legacy reasons.

Are you sure that this is the best way to go about it? Maybe VC and emulator runs can be submitted onto the category extensions leaderboards. Then again, you know more about it than I do.

The fuck? Some people don’t have money to go out and find a n64 so your just going to ban them? How is it going to make it fair? This really isn’t a good way to do this, n64’s range from 100 to 400 and just a copy of sm64 is 60 dollars, you need to rethink this.

Also people put in effort just like n64 World record holders, you cant just shut them down like this, it really isn’t making it fair.

Gothiclogic takes the leaderboards very seriously and would never compromise their integrity for any reason, especially not for a joke. @videogamemaster22 you're banned regardless of what console you play on

I really hope this is an April Fool's joke. I understand having VC and emu separated from n64, but why remove them all together? I understand removing emu but VC is a pure port on a Nintendo console. Not everybody can get an n64. Please bring it back.

Edit: I kind of had a feeling it was a joke, and I'm happy it is. In, all seriousness, I learned an important (or maybe not so much) lesson from this - never believe anything on April Fool's day.
