Wondering if Bad Ending% could possibly be added as a misc category. I originally ran the bad ending 2 years ago on my youtube channel (back when i recorded a tv screen, yay) but recently improved the time on twitch. I imagine the category might not be popular enough considering the ending in itself is relatively unknown, but i figured id ask anyway.

I have discussed this with another mod and it would be only fair if we make that category since we already have a pacifit category. It won't be called "bad ending%" (since bad ending is not a number ;) ) but rather "bad ending" and it will be hidden under "misc categories" because we don't want to have a category bloat.

There's an ending for high score, and there is at least one recorded run that I know of, and several more historic runs (it used to be the way to run the game, many years ago). It's basically "Good Ending" if I'm not mistaken. I would like to run it one day. It requires getting a lot of hidden gems and making extensive use of Launchpad. Nothing that should be added right now but hopefully in the future!

Another run that is good is "3 Mode," beating easy, normal, and difficult single segment.

Funny enough i actually recorded a good/best ending run years ago as well (again in the record the tv screen with a camera days). The best ending, like the bad ending, I find interesting because the way you play the game changes beyond any% with each.

As for "3 mode" wouldn't a single segment run of all difficulties essentially be the same any% run but done three times since the only thing that changes with difficulty select is the amount of damage taken?

"3 mode" has given me an interesting idea for a run though. So the game has three difficulties...and the game has three endings...What if you did a single segment where you played each difficulty but also got a different ending each time? So easy would be bad ending, since you have to take a lot of damage to do it quickly; normal would be the best ending, and difficult would be the regular any% run. I suppose you could do any ending in whatever order you would want but that would be the easiest. Not proposing it as a category, its just a thought that popped into my mind with Barnowls mention of "3 mode".

Bad ending has been added, the others will not currently be added. I understand some of your love categories, but frankly I would like to keep the categories with two runners or less to a minimum, especially for categories that are completely arbitrary (3 game, complete the game 10 times, blindfolded, done by a runner with size 10 shoes, etc). The 5 we have at the moment should be enough. I could consider Best Ending in the future if there is enough request for it.

But this is of course only for the leaderboard and you are okay to run anything you'd like and even submit those runs if they happened to give you a PB in some category. I believe Barnowl used his 3-mode run as a PB video in one of the categories.

I routed this category myself and have a initial time of 8:52. Once I figure out the bonus points for clock time threshold, I'm confident it can be pushed to 8:2xish. I initially tried it with OP's route but the ice cream made me want to jump off of a cliff. So I ended up opting for adding money to get to divisible of 3 million instead of losing money to do it. I believe it's ultimately faster as well. Notes: holy hell this category was a pain. I had so many attempts $1,000 too high or low before finally hitting that 3 mil. I also routed "good ending" which I've down to 17:52, but I won't be trying to submit the category, however, I will have it highlighted if anyone wants to check it out. Edit: There are some major flaws in my "good ending" route. I'm going to work on it a bit in the next couple of days.
