@Ratslul Maybe you should stop talking about people you don't know and use fact. For exemple i'm a PS4 runner and i don't have personal interest to help PC runners If rules were defined with the community at the very beginning nobody should complain right now even if 120FPS is legitimate. So @XTerminator i m sorry but i m pretty sure coming and tell people to educate them self will not work at all, people should learn not rushing WR instead of having a nice leaderboard first ( and of course whine if theirs runs are not verified in 1 day to make pressure on moderators )

The run doesn't change enough at 60fps to warrant separation, if the people complaining about it bothered to learn the run they'd know. As for PC can't reach 120fps, this is a very well optimized game that even a mid range PC on minimum settings can reach 120fps. This game, limited to 120fps, compared to most PC games released in the last few years, is very low on the pay 2 win scale, if you actually set aside memes and actually learn the run and see how the game works before complaining about a lack of a 60fps category.

So I am not in favor of splitting 60fps, I'd rather have it deleted and replaced with a no knife category. This category will truly be a different category that will have major routing differences and strats, and will run the same for every framerate. Rather than a slightly slower 120fps category which is what 60fps is, a no knife category I feel is much better. There isn't even any routing differences in 60fps, just longer time spent knifing bosses because the knife's still the best weapon.

@Orchlon my pc whit low resolution and bad options can't reach arround 90 fps my pc specs is Fx 9850 overclocked to 4,6 ghz 16 gb ram and 1050 ti oc. You can see one video from my stream and i play whit potato options all low and resolution is like 1280x720. So I can't run at 120 fps because my fights will be slow than 120fps players.

1080gtx, ryzen 1700x 16gb ram here and game turned to shit using the nvidia profiler thingy for some reason. Lowest resolution + close to no "processing load" and I still don't get 120 fps on boss fights. I even drop to 40 fps in the garage part. I paid to have a chance to get a profile badge saying "1" and it doesn't work what do @Orchlon ? PepeHands

(Edit: No, seriously, does anybody else ran into the same issue ? I still have tests to do, but asking could save me some time fiddling around settings and switching to rivatuner etc. If someone has a clue DM me, i'll be your valentine today)

A serious suggestion here, why don't we just dissolve 60 and 120 FPS to have a single 90 FPS category/filter thing?

90 FPS is much more easily attainable than 120 FPS for the runners with lower end computers, especially with lowering graphics settings, and it looks better than 60 FPS. 120 was an arbitrary number anyways. Anyone that doesn't have a 120 or 144 Hz monitor would need to cap their FPS with a third party program.

I think this could be a middle ground that should be taken into consideration.

Personally I don't think there should be two categories that are 95% the same. I think either 120 or 60 should be the only choice.

Maybe make standard 120 fps and hardcore 60 fps since it seems like that's the way the majority of the runs have been done so far.

I vote yes to separate 60 and 120 (Edit : in my opinion, 120 should not exist, it's too much dependant of your PC. In a spirit of competition, everybody should run with the same possibilities) Btw I think we should vote for new moderation leaders who will notdecide for a whole community without asking before. I would be glad to see Darazan or Steven to come back because they were fair and have a lot of experience.

I like the idea of the guy who say 90 fps, is a way to please everyone. In the case you don't go for that, yeah there should be separate categories.

And for the sub category, yeah, I also though than the highlight should always be on no major glitch run.

Yes. I find that using a program to block at 120 fps and that is a not a feature of the game should not be taking account of. 60 fps is what the the game offer so we must stick to 60 fps for the runs. A separation will be fine too. Thanks

This is an absolute mess. People that run PS4, yet they still come here, explicitly saying they don't care about helping PC players, but nevertheless advocate change to the boards regarding FPS, this is insane. Another thing I noticed, even when all this heated debate started 14 days ago, is that the most aggresive people, are the ones advocating 60FPS, trying to force others onto their playing field, as if they somehow expect to compete with people that currently hold Top 5 times on the boards, and not get absolutely bodied by them anyway, regardless of the amount of FPS. Instead of stating that someone doesn't want to help others. cause they run the game on a different platform, or stand-offishly brush aside what others say and double-down on what they themselves want, people need to look at all sides of the argument and come together to discuss them to find a compromise, as this pointless bickering won't lead to anything except more hostility.

I know many people still run on 60 hrz monitors and have to find third party means to lock for to 120, but what about people such as myself who have 120hrz or 144 hrz monitors? I can lock my fps to 120 without the use of third party software. Why should I have to gimp myself to compete in a game I truly enjoy? If it's really that big of a deal just split it, forcing 60 fps though would only make the community less competitive in my eyes. I understand that it may not feel fair but it's the same reason there are different leagues in sports.

1. Im one of these guys a dude talked about in this thread. Yes i run the game. On both console (Xbox) and PC, 60 and 120fps. GD i practise my low% knife run on 200fps. But i dont post any runs yet. Just like some mods talked about. The rules are not set yet so i wait. I know some more ppl that do the same. I run lots of games on and with dif. categorys. But im not competetive all the time on all the games i run, so i run against my self. But a few games i really whant to be competetive in and race others on a board. So i hope the rules gonna be set soon. Atleast next quarter.

Both @Soulless_Persona and @CursedToast are great mods with strait answers even if i dont always agreed, and to me sometimes (prob lost in translation) sounded kinda crotchety on the communitys nagging all the time. Im a mod on one of Swedens biggest IT forums so i know for sure how hard it can be. So all love to you guys and IM SORRY if i sound "bitchy". But @maxylobes the post you posted for 23h ago sounded kinda strange to me and a little cocky. You say no mods are "cocky" or whatever the word is. But when not one, but mby 5 ppl say that they (Some) are. Is it not you that can not take feedback? Nothing against you dude, It was an exemple. I have never had an argue with you so. I love your stream and i really think you are a cool dude m8. But feedback helps ppl. I love feedback and as a officer in the Swedish airforce and father of 2 kids i have learnd to appreciate feedback. I really hope i translated this correct now. So you know, nothing against you. Just try to understand others legit (Not spamming haters) oppinion, not call it ridiculous. Try to understand why they think so etc.

4. Yes 60 and 120 should be seperated and 60 is the way to go. Knife is ruining the game (Hope they patch it). 60 is the ingame lock. "Keep it simple stupid" just like the leaderboard should be.

This may be a dumb question, but if 60FPS and 120FPS are separated, there will be three categories (PC60FPS, PC120FPS and Console) or just 120FPS and 60FPS (Console being included in the later)?

also, i think assisted should be a category alongside standard and hardcore? it doesn't make sense to not have it

Agreed with Trichael Man. No reason not to have it. Stuff like "Aim assist and health regen" is not a reason to not allow it for New Game.
