Skips that are available on X-X2 HD remaster Steam Version ?

Hi, fairly new runner here. I followed Flobberworm's route to run the PS2 PAL version of the game (don't judge me :D) and all went pretty well. But when I tried some skips on the HD remaster version available on steam, I noticed that I couldn't get the Guadosalam's skip (the one with the potion shop). At first I thought I was doing it wrong, but I Always get it first try on the PS2 version. It seems that it is not possible on PC version.

This made me wonder if there are any skips that couldn't be done in this version. I'm sure you can do the Tromell Skip in Macalania because I've done it. I suppose that the Mi'ihen Highroad woks too because it's the same kind of glitch, but are there any skips that are unavailable in the PC version ?

Guadosalam skip was the only patched skip in the PS4/PC release, all others should work (although typically only one on Mi'ihen and Jysscal sphere skip are attempted)

There are still other skips such as Calli skip and Clasko skip but these aren't typically done, either being too difficult or not saving enough time (as well as being difficult/risky). I'm not sure anyone has confirmed that these work on HD but I assume they do.

Worth noting that Djose skip is much more feasible to do on HD because Tidus runs faster, allowing you to get further before needing to be pushed by the chocobo. Although the skip is still incredibly difficult. It's easier still on HD version as you can pause buffer easier with the new Escape menu, but I wouldn't recommend anyone attempt it in a speedrun.

As you said though, Guadosalam is fixed but the other 2 work no problem. Mi'ihen might be a bit more difficult because of the different talk range on NPCs but still feasible.

I'm new to running this game, I've only done a couple segmented runs and was going to start practicing the skips. I was wondering why you don't recommend the Djose skip in a speedrun?

It's impossibly difficult. Only been done once on emulator with many save states and playing on the lowest possible framerate.
