Thanks illuminati7777. So far the only one I've heard was about changing aiming method on the fly, and I think 25 to 30 FPS fix is more of a fix than this blatant addition to the game which was never present nor meant by developers.

But unlocked fps makes the game unpredictable, otherwise I'd be using 60fps....

B. As one of the only controller users that doesn't use GInput it won't have a great effect on me either way. I would like to learn more though, not digging through this thread cause I already know what a 10 page thread in the GTA community will consist of.

I read the first post that is the basis of the vote. In my experience using GInput if you are holding a call and pause you are no longer holding the call, I could be wrong or it could be a misleading statement. Second point is switching between auto aim and free aim, have you ever heard of moving the right stick of the controller? I need some clarity here so please enlighten me.

I read some of it and I wasn't very impressed, zacholic basically calling himself an engineer of gta speedrunning was a good chuckle and all. Don't think non runner opinions mean much. Switching from a Xbox controller to a PS controller is not very hard. Overall I don't think the results will matter much one way or another.

After reading over the posts and the arguments in this tread, I have decided to exercise my civic duty and cast my vote for A) Ban G-Input as it is a modification and should not be used.

Zach you can't learn anything from this thread other than how not to talk to people. Let the fucking mods talk and put out a more clear and informative post than Hoxius and then we can see what's what.

Ever since this has been accepted which wasn't supposed to be in the first place it has only stirred up more threads/discussions on allowing other mods. If the developers messed up controller support that's on them and a mod should not be allowed to fix it. When Xbox runs became obsolete due to duping I moved on to PC. I didn't start a bandwagon to get glitchless or whatever on the leaderboards and similarly if people want to continue submitting runs they should have to move onto keyboard and mouse. The use of Ginput just opens up too much discussion for allowing other mods when mods aren't even allowed to begin with. Ginput to me is no different than using an unofficial patch.

Alternatively we could ban keyboard/mouse and cut the leaderboard into a fraction of what it is currently. :D
