GIVING UP: switch to Putter, press B to putt short and Give Up.
Some holes have times listed after them (ex. 30-35s). These are my testing results from timing these individual hole tactics. Time these yourself from pressing a button out of the “Hole X” screen with the green view, the one before the camera pans to the tee box, to when the hole result screen appears, i.e. when your character strikes a pose and the announcer says ‘Nice birdie!’

YOLO except with headwind >7mph TEE SHOT Power aim left at cacti between bunkers impact down (left/right correct for wind, one step left by default) BAB APPROACH Power impact up (down in rain or barely in fairway) (right) BBA
Notes/Objective: The best alternative I can find is to give up 5 & 8 and eagle 13. Giving up 5 saves about 18 seconds. Giving up 8 saves about 8 seconds. This allows a mistake-free round to win at -4. However, giving up 13 saves about 27 seconds and allows much more wiggle room. There is at least five seconds to save with the alternative if the yolo risk pays off with an eagle. If you are going to play this hole safe, however, then there is a nice alley through the cacti where your second shot can go. You want that second shot to land in the rough to force a lower-loft club for the approach. Eagle is only reasonable with a decent wind that isn’t a headwind or forces the recommended tee shot into a bunker. 35.5-41s safe, 28-32s yolo eagle

TEE SHOT impact (right) BBA
APPROACH Power club down impact up (right) BBA
Notes/Objective: The hill is a good landing spot for the tee shot. Impact up on the tee shot will slam it into the slope. If you don’t club down on a front pin, the cactus can get in your way. Reasonable eagle chance with no wind/rain, back left pin and 100% 2nd shot 25-30s

RIGHT Power impact up right BBA (Power) impact up BBA
Notes/Objective: When aimed into the trees, down and left or right always keeps the tee shot safe from the trees. Down right would put a slope into play. TEE SHOT Power aim for knob impact down BAB
APPROACH (Power) impact (up/down for distance) (right) BBA

9 NINE
TEE SHOT Power aim for middle, impact up right BBA
APPROACH (3W) (Power) aim for pin, impact up (right for wind correction) BBA
Notes/Objective: The tee shot usually puts you on the left slope in the fairway. You may graze the tree on the approach, but it’ll make the ball get to the ground faster so it’s usually fine. 25-34s
10 TEN
(aim if right to left wind >9mph) impact (up/down for distance) right BBA
Notes/Objective: You usually want to impact down to not hit the side of the hill that this green lies on, though you can afford to impact up if you’re not dealing with much wind. 16.5-19s back pin, 14-19s front pin
11 ELEVEN
TEE SHOT impact up (left/right to fast fairway edge) BBA
APPROACH 3W (Power) (aim to pin if right to left wind) impact up right BBA

Impact down puts the slopes off the green out of play, but full power may be too much. 13.92-16.68s left pin (13.39-15.32s in rain), 13.15-17.43s middle pin (13.98-16.41s in rain), 14.90-18.69s (14.47-16.08s in rain) right pin
12 TWELVE
TEE SHOT (1W except in >13mph tailwind) Aim for first play panel impact up right BBA
APPROACH (Power) 3W aim impact (up/down for wind) right BBA
Notes/Objective: Tee shot should land between play panels. Land on the first panel and bounce off of it. Most consistent way I found to keep play panels out of play. Requires a 3W approach that can stop dead in its tracks as soon as it reaches the green. 25.38-30.28s (+11s if you hit play panel)
13 THIRTEEN
FRONT PIN TEE SHOT impact (one step up at full power except in tailwind) left BBA (DO NOT BE LATE)
APPROACH (4W) aim for left edge of green (95% in tailwind) impact up right BBA
Notes/Objective: Hit the tee shot into the rough, not the fairway, not off the rock. Then hit a 4W to the green. If done correctly, both shots should stop on a dime. 23.55-27.29s
BACK PIN TEE SHOT impact up right early BBA
APPROACH (4W) aim for left edge of green impact (up if club up, else down) right BBA 23.09-27.56s
14 FOURTEEN
TEE SHOT (1W) aim for top edge of right fast fairway (95% except in headwind) impact up right BBA
IF LIE IS NOT PERFECT SECOND SHOT impact up right BBA
APPROACH impact right BBB
APPROACH Power (1W) (aim for fairway) impact down right BA
Putt for eagle (yes, even from fairway)
Notes/Objective: The degree of difficulty on this shot changes wildly with the wind. The idea is to bounce off of the first fast fairway next to the bunker and land on the fairway between the two right-side bunkers. If your lie is good, then the green can be approached with a Power shot. Otherwise, there’s a layup area to the left across the water. 29.88s for eagle up to 41.32s for birdie
Scribbles of notes for other potential shots (this hole was hard to route): TEE SHOT 1W (95%) impact up (left/right according to wind, right if starting with 1W) BBA
1W RIGHT TO LEFT WIND Power impact up right BBA
SECOND SHOT impact up right BBA APPROACH impact up (right) BBB 35.96-41.32s, 38.71-38.96s in rain POTENTIAL FOR A LOT WORSE
TAILWIND TEE SHOT Power aim left of bunker impact down right BBA APPROACH Power 1W aim for pokey impact down right BBA Putt for Eagle 34.17-34.40s
NO WIND Tee (aim for mushroom) bba Approach power 1w aim for fairway impact down right bab Putt for eagle 31.46-32.15s
1W aim for right fast fairway impact right BAB Impact up right early BBA Club up impact (up right) BBB Tailwind and on fairway power aim impact down right bba, putt for eagle 33.59s 37.68s in rain 15 FIFTEEN
Club up aim left of pin 90% (95% in headwind >13mph) impact up (right) BBA
Notes/Objective: Find a flat surface to land on so that the super backspin 3W stops on a dime. There’s more room to do that with the back-right hole location. You’ll get put in 4W by default, but it does not spin as quickly here. Left pin 14.23-17.81s, 13.80-16.65s in rain Right pin 14.60-18.43s, 13.91-16.08s in rain
16 SIXTEEN
TEE SHOT impact (up in tailwind) (right) BBA
IF >=13mph S/SE wind SECOND SHOT 70% impact up BBA
or not in the fairway APPROACH 3w aim 95% impact up BBA
APPROACH Power 1W aim for hole impact up right BAB
If your aim is true, a straight putt from any point on the island should be all you need.
Notes/Objective: If your shot is flat enough, you can actually skip it on the water. There’s hardly any other way to reach this green in two, particularly without a tailwind, much less with any consistency. 29.68-32.67s, 33.59-36.96s if you have to lay up
17 SEVENTEEN
TEE SHOT Aim for right edge of bunker below play panel impact (up if full power or tailwind) (right) BBA
APPROACH (Power in rough) (3w/3i whichever closest) (aim for left front edge of green) impact (up back pin) (right) BBA
Notes/Objective: There aren’t that many safe spaces to land on this fairway and several of them put the play panels in play. Unless you don’t adjust enough for a right to left wind, you should not put any play panels in play. 25.29-29.74s
18 EIGHTEEN
GIVE UP if -13 or better; or
TEE SHOT 85% impact up right early BBA (end on right side of fairway)
SECOND impact up right early BBA (end in rough between heavy rough and rock)
APPROACH (Power in heavy rough)(aim for bottom of green) impact down right BBA
Notes/Objective: Lay up city. Second shot does flirt with some OB, though. Approach is really flat and the green is, well, anything but. 32.55s-36.03s
-3 to win
