Locations of All Treasures - Level 07 - Palawan Temple (N64)

This guide will show you all the treasure locations with a short written commentary on how to reach them. It will also show a difficulty rating which expresses how hard it is to find/reach the treasure without hints. Treasures are presented in the order in which it is believed you are likely to find them when playing the level the intended way.

Treasure 1 - Gold Idol

Commentary: The first treasure is found in the area with the Red Tiki Statue. The intended to avoid the boulder there is to use your whip from the pedestal upon which the Tiki Statue stood and climb up from the harm's way. If you climb to the top, you will find an alcove with a Gold Idol inside.

Treasure 2 - Gold Coins

Commentary: Found in the area right after you open the large doors using the Red Tiki Statue. Go to the right of the stairs and should be easy to find the Gold Coins. Unless you're afraid of spiders...

Treasure 3 - Silver Coins

Commentary: The next three treasures are found at the start of the cave system (coming from the direction of the bridge which you can't cut down). The first one of these is on a platform that is up a ladder which is directly opposite the cave entrance. Up there, you will find a corpse with some Silver Coins on it.

Treasure 4 - Silver Coins

Commentary: A bit closer to the river, you will find a second ladder. After you climb, turn around. You will see a small platform with some Silver Coins.

Treasure 5 - Gold Coins

Commentary: Continuing on through the cave system, there's a large step which you have to climb. After you climb it, look to the right. There will be a cobweb and behind it a corpse with some Gold Coins.

Treasure 6 - Silver Bar

Commentary: This is one is at the very end of the cave system. When you come across a slide-down slope, take it and jump at the very end of it to make it to a small platform with a Silver Bar. You can also reach this platform in an unintended way by jumping from the top of the boulder which is located at the bottom of the gap between the slope and the platform.

Treasure 7 - Gold Bar

Commentary: Located in the small cave after the section with two boulder traps, this treasure is almost impossible to miss. As you make your way through that cave, right in your face will lie a skeleton with a Gold Bar.

Treasure 8 - Gold Coins

Commentary: Near the final doors which are opened by both Tiki Statues, there's a ladder which leads down to a platform. There you will find a stone guardian watching over some Gold Coins.

Treasure 9 - Silver Coins

Commentary: A deceptively sneaky treasure, behind the final doors you can find some Silver Coins tucked away in the darkness around a corner to the right.
