Everytime at the start of a mission I keeps smashing space to skip cutscenes but always take too much time to skip and most of the times the cutscene plays for 1-2 sec before skip. This also happens with replays, always have to watch 2 secs of the replays in order to cancel it.

My laptop is pretty shitty but even that I dont think is "normal" to this happens, what you guys think? How can I solve that?

My laptop specs: Intel Core i3-3110M CPU @ 2.40GHz 2.40GHz RAM 4.00GB Intel Graphics HD 4000 Windows 7 Ultimate x64 All drivers updated GTA SA Steam Downgraded (following the KZ_Frew tutorial), minimal resolution, low graphics quality, medium draw distance, no anti alising... Playing through DxWnd...

The replay thing where you have to wait a couple of seconds is intended, that's why people create "short replays" (by pressing the save replay button after a cutscene with no fade) and that makes the replay duration just 1 second or less. And as Anton said, putting your GTA into an SSD drive helps a lot.
