Question regarding using tools

Hi, just a quick question, I suffer from RSI and would like to use an autoclicker for dialogue, is this an issue? Thinking about doing an MSQ run but the dialogue scares me :)

I have a similar question. I also have an RSI, and instead of an external program, I'm interested in using mouse macros both to autoclick through dialogue and to automate certain actions like skipping cutscenes. Is this allowed?

Not sure if it would help but you can bind it to the mouse wheel. It makes things a bit inconsistent but it mashes really fast.

For an RSI, it's not really any better than the default left click. My thought with using a macro would be that I could click through multiple lines with a single button press.

If it is in regard to job quest and MSQ for MSQ speedruns, I would have to say that most of the cutscenes are just skippable, so the times where you would actually need to are quite few in number. The mousewheel suggestion above makes sense though

I will talk to the other mods/verifiers and get back to you asap

Any update on this?

The skipping cutscene automation imo would be the more concerning aspect. My understanding that the 1 input = 1 output (aside from in-game macros) applies throughout.

That said, it's possible (even recommended) to bind Confirm to a button other than Left Mouse click, i.e. a keyboard bind, to ease up on the RSI. Lots of folks use 0 numpad, personally I use G and a easy trigger side mouse button both for Confirm, and spam them together. Something similar should always be possible w/out any external tools.

But if that doesn't do the trick for you please let us know.
