If you are stuck on the Roaring Knight fight, don’t worry, I have a strategy. I personally didn’t get the shadow mantle so I keep dying so I will come out with a video of it when I beat the Knight with it, or make a whole new file for the shadow mantle.

So basically I’ve been seeing a lot of people just fighting and using Rude Buster, but this is lower TP gain, if you want to do more damage by using Rude Buster more to get its special attack faster and beat it in less turns, this is recommended.

So basically when the fight starts, make Kris use Hold Breath to quicken speed, this will carry on into the rest of the fight so don’t worry about continued use, this allows you to dodge easier, and have Susie and Ralsei defend to gain more TP then attacking. This will of the bat be faster soul and 32 TP, after this, dodge attacks as best you can(doesn’t have to be perfect just make sure nobody of your team is downed or “swooned”), and have everyone defend unless you have the TP for Rude Buster in which case make Susie use it, if your HP is low make sure to heal, IF you have any revive mints(I didn’t) then use them. When Susie or Ralsei are swooned, Kris just downs so don’t waste revive mints on him because you can use regular heals.

If you notice any flaws please tell me, only reason I say Rude Buster only is because would you rather do about 30 or something attack, or 110 each turn? Also saw this on YouTube I haven’t tested it but when using Rude Buster spam Z(or A on Switch/Switch 2) to do more damage.

Correction for the last part: Spamming Z does not boost Rude Buster damage as much as it used to. Starting from Chapter 3 onwards, you must time a single Z/A press to get the maximum damage boost. (Perfect timing would be right as the buster hits the target) This was how it was supposed to work all along but broke in the first 2 chapters. (Still is and it's unlikely going to be fixed)

Oh ok thank you for telling me that. I just saw a random video on Jevil in YouRube Shorts saying they made like 30 more Rude Buster damage by spamming Z.

I made my own video just showing how I beat the knight consistently. But I think there’s also a few other tutorials that would probably work better for some people.

@Nate09 That’s actually a good tutorial, I see people saying to use DealMaker and Shadow Mantle on Susie but I didn’t know about the mantle at the time I got to Tenna so I’m having to do it while losing constantly, I’m just saying Kris and Ralsei defend to have TP for the entire fight they haven’t swooned through so Susie can use Rude Buster constantly.
