We are currently holding a vote regarding the possibility of changing the default Autosplitter on our Community Discord

After the Goatling event had people using the ASR-based Autosplitter, I asked for feedback and it does seem like everything was great except for some initial hiccups.
So, I wanted to make a poll to see if people would accept it to be fully switched over as the default Autosplitter.

If the poll is overwhelmingly in agreement, and no bugs are found delaying things further, the switch would happen around Sunday, February 1, 2026 at 8:00 PM UTC+0.

Notes:

• If the switch does happen, ALL of your Autosplitter settings would get reset.
• To use the old ASL Autosplitter, you would have to add it to the Layout manually and disable the default one.
• Please do actually try out the ASR Autosplitter before voting to change it. Make sure it actually works for you and doesn't cause unnecessary issues.
  You can do so by adding the Autosplitter to your Layout as an <Control> -> <AutoSplitter Runtime> Component.

Benefits of doing the Switch for Windows:

I can continue development on it. I am unable to do so on the ASL. However the ASL is unlikely to need serious updates.

Benefits of doing the Switch for Linux:

It actually auto downloads a functional Autosplitter for all the LiveSplit One frontends that support it.
