As some of you may have noticed, the game received a small patch introducing an experimental Sprinting feature.
Impact on Speedrunning
Sprinting will not be allowed in speedruns until confirmed in next week's update.
If and when sprinting is confirmed, existing runs will be archived to a "Pre-Sprinting" category.
UPDATE - 8/23/25
it's been a while, hasn't it?
The game recently received an update which means that runs using the sprinting mechanic are now accepted on the leaderboards! The recent game update confirms sprinting as a permanent feature.
All prior runs have been archived under
