So, i was speedrunning bite-sized mode any class any train, and arrived to the end in about 8 minutes. I was about to get the wr but that was before i realized you can't lower the bridge until 10 minutes have passed. This is probably an anti-exploiting mechanic that doesn't actually help. This results in pretty much every runs where you arrive in less than 10 minutes (or 8 if you wait 2 minutes before starting) to have nearly the same time if it isn't for microseconds of differences.
I suggest that we pretend this anti-exploiting mechanic doesn't exist and that you now only need to hold the prompt for the maximum duration to not punish players that are too fast. Yes you could wait 2 minutes before moving after loading in to get extra time, if i did that i would've gotten a wr run (in which i didn't even play perfectly so you can definitely get 7 minutes), but let's be honest considering the rng nobody wants to wait an extra 2 minutes after loading in just for a potential good run, and let's not pretend the final fight takes skill or is fun to watch.
If you guys don't agree with this, then i also suggest we can now wait up to 10 minutes before moving after loading in. That way you can go as fast as you want and the final battle is still there. Though it would be more tedious and i think the previous suggestion is much better.
it's been a while, hasn't it?
