You have to downgrade Cuphead if you want to play on 1.1

The Autosplitter isnt working for 1.3 at the moment.

an autosplitter will be made for 1.3 eventually, but there isn't one yet

I'm actually having a similar problem. I am using 1.1.5 and when I set everything and click settings after activating it shows nothing. just the script path, any idea what could be wrong?

so the autosplitter has a temporary fix for the dlc that only works on the dlc patch, the old file for the autosplitter can be found on the cuphead discord if you want to use it.
