Is there an easy way to do the restart glitch? I’m going for the fastest time but I need the restart glitch and I mess it up half the time, is there an easy way to do it? It’s the most frustrating part of trying the run, completely breaks the rhythm.

I'm not sure if there is an easier way to execute it, some runners prefer to do the glitch high jumps to the portal, some just slide-jump to it, try both method and see if you find one better.

In case you don't know it already, you'll know if the glitch setup worked if the camera shakes a bit after you restarted before touching the portal, in case it might help you this video has a little clip of its execution at the begin
