As far as I’m concerned,the"speed run"signifies who can pass the game in the least time,which should be defined by player's effective and meaningful gameplay(useful button push).Through an overall view of the Contra hard corps,two of the 5 different ways:Chase/Fight、Lab/Surrender,the character can still be controlled by player after the final boss was killed.A dead final boss means the game comes to the end,there's no stages,no effective and meaningful button push.Upon loss of control at the end of the run,we have a few meaningless seconds,I should say these seconds are rubbish times.Care about these useless seconds is a waste of time,which brings more additional works to moderators.I wish we have a simple,clear,professional rule.
