Later I found out how Metzix got his PB, and it's basically down to having a robo-perfect hack, as well as a flare he drops earlier. So improvement here is less psychorunning (slightly slower than normal running) and getting a faster hack. You can get no alien without a flare, but it may be easier to do so with less psycho running. Alternatively, old-style all running all the way may help if you can get the alien to show up in the doorway between the hack and activating the terminal so he holds the door open for you. Who knows!
