Hello, I play on ps5 and use the console recording stuff. It only records up to 60 minutes and even then it’s not exactly 60m. Would it be against the rules to pause, clip at like 50ish minutes and then clip both videos of the same run together?
Unfortunately it would be against the rules to have 2 videos clipped together yes. There are plenty of runs with PS5 consoles, so i'd assume there's other ways of doing it, perhaps streaming to twitch and doing highlights?
Yeah that’s what I figured. Just seems wack for me to constantly be streaming when I play.
Unfortunately, the only ways to really record anything for console would be: recording locally from the built in system on your console, streaming it on YT/Twitch and highlighting the VOD or buying a capture card to record
It's not optimal, but if you also have a PC, you can use Remote Play to stream the game to it and capture your screen using a recording software like OBS.
If you face latency issues with that method that prevent you from playing your best, create a second PSN account and use that one to log into Remote Play, that way you can be directly connected to the PS5 while the game image is still being streamed to your PC. I think you can find some tutorials on youtube on how to set that up if you can't figure it out how to do it
As many of you know from my previous post, on April 19th 2025 Twitch will be implementing a new highlight limit of 100 hours of footage. After this date, any of your highlights over this time will be automatically deleted. And if you'
