Can I have my account name changed to xTsukuyomi_? Would be easier for it to match my Twitch name. Thank you in advance.
My upgrades have been changing recently, I need to do some calculations... Ideally we need 37 upgrade points through the run (Discounting the 1 we use for Neon Jump or whatever it's called). This is enough to unlock Air Dash (8), Rapid Fire (5), Extended Cloud Boost (11), Double Air Dash (13).
Anybody know the amount we get from missions up to Hang Ten (Beta Survival), including Triple Takedown as it's mandatory in my route. Will make planning out a 37 SP route a lot easier. Thx in advance :D
I know, but that is the vaguest it's been in terms of timing
I've been finding a sorta sweet spot timingwise, anywhere in the 9.2-9.3s range seems to work. Other than that, my positioning seems to be just on the green building. At least, it's most consistent under those circumstances for me.
I can't be bothered to clutter the forums up with many of my untested things. I'm leaving this here for anyone to use.
To start it off, I need to time something in (weirdly) the prologue, specifically (and even more weirdly) hiding from the chopper. I will do a stream soon showing my wonderful adventures through... Seattle
OK, I can try to make a highlight of the race route then, it's gonna save a few seconds just due to the fact I cut off most of the race.
Depends really, mainly on load times (SSD + HDD obviously having a difference). Also, I have a different route for the race that saves a few seconds. I'd need to show you it live for you to know obviously. I'll save a few of my strats as highlights when I next stream.
Typically, I see most people play on SCPH-90001s, which is also the one I use. Other than that, 70k series is decent too.
Seeing as Aly and I have already tested the S+L on Drug Trucks to some success, I have another S+L I need someone to test while I'm not doing anything in the game.
At the start of Free the Neon (after the cutscene), Save + Load. It leaves you under the objective building. I haven't been able to time it much, but it's out there if anyone has the time to do it.
Had a couple ideas for the early game:
- Time Trials for Panoz.
- All Licences.
- Use Panoz to earn an Impreza from the Special Stage Route 5 wet races.
- Use Impreza to finish Rally League + unlock Escudo.
- Use Escudo for Passage to Collosseo to unlock Polyphony 002 (F668/S in NTSC).
Haven't routed much more, reason why Passage to Collosseo would be done is because it is fixed to 2 hours, whereas Super Speedway would be faster in a Polyphony > Escudo.
Does anyone know the difference between the Polyphony 001 and 002? Because I think Super Speedway awards a 001, which could change the route if there is a noticeable difference.
I've heard about it, but if it's 100% that's all races + single race & time trial mode. Though, it may be worth n1nj4ofshr3d's any% strategy and using time trials to get the Panoz.
Turns out, I'm bad at reading... Professional is actually really long... Would take a lot longer than I am expecting unfortunately
Seeing how the Beginner league can take around 6 hours (+2 licenses), is there any viability for a segmented run for all races?
I kinda expect Amateur to take around 8 hours, Professional maybe 10 + Formula GT and endurance potentially at 20. Not sure about Rally league, haven't done any real timing on that yet - 10 races though, probably considerably shorter than other leagues
It's no longer fine.... thanks for debunking the disc copy Aly... I really appreciate it. I guess I have more incentive to get a new splitter and a new capture card now.
I do know for a fact it is not frame perfect. I've used about 3 different timings, it worked at 11s, 9s, and 8s. Weirdly not 10s though. I will have to do a little more testing, and see which of these is most consistent (going from a timer).
We found a consistent time on Terminal Skip yet? I'm thinking 8 seconds sharpish, though I think my pb did it just before 9.
See, I wouldn't know if there are version differences in this game. Hence my curiosity on the topic. Assuming that language makes the game faster due to shorter phone calls, it could be the same for cutscenes. My point being that the first cutscene after the prologue would actually have faster dialogue in, say, Italian than English. This only really sparks my curiosity as I play on an EU ps4 with a disc copy - something I've heard the NA versions didn't have.
OK, so upon some testing of the game, and a little research, I have discovered that cutscenes are actually loading times. This was mainly due to the fact that it's doing a lot of background loading to load the next areas - hence why they are unskippable. Is it worth retiming to have times without loads?
