Yes, last time I also tried to learn something from the TAS, but since I had the time relatively quickly compared to other runs, I was somehow too impatient to try further. But there were so many unused improvements that I tried to apply a bit more now :)

To be honest, I don't think battle is a suitable mode for speedrunning, even less than soccer (which im not a big fan of) It would be purely hoping to meet some bots and get items. You could contact fabian for introducing not really useful speedrun modes as he also introduced soccer...

I've actually tried any% before, but the bots mostly stopped me very early. I also often have problems not being slow on tracks where I don't know the strategy. So I'll probably try a few more tracks first to be better in story mode. I also thought about doing a few risky cuts e.g. Volcan Island, but unfortunately that was fixed. And Theo's most recent runs are simply amazing, for example from xr or snowpeak, I can say that I can't keep up with them.
