Neat! As the record holder in several categories, you would think I would know the answer to what I'm about to ask. Is the house order always the same? Did you manipulate the house order? How do I not know this?

The next task is to time one delivery so you could do the whole week. It would be a gnarley category extension.

The old Kings Quest games might be a good template for configuration. The community decided to run at max cycles for enjoyability. Now those are some cool speedruns.

I think it would be best to not require a camera recording the input device until the game gets more popular. It may discourage new people from posting a run and joining the community. For example, if the SNES category required a camera on the controller, I probably wouldn't have submitted the run, or even attempted it. I don't have a camera, and I don't plan on getting one any time soon.

Our community is just too small to have these discussions. I say we let the cheating happen first, and implement rules as a result. The story of a well respected MM3 runner disgraced by a cheating scandal would bring attention to the game and help the community grow.

I would love to see a 100% run, or a no orb/doe run.

I was messing with a savestate at the Trashcan House and thought, what if there's a place other than the mailbox to get the delivery? A door that isn't there? THERE IS! Right next to the window on the side of the garage gets you the delivery. I don't know anything about it, and it's a very tight window (pun intended). If it could be made consistent, it would eliminate the need to slow down at that house.

My vote is leave them as is. I'd like to see if the strat is actually faster than the current WR, I'm not sure it is. I think it just improves average runs.

I put my timer/splits on the right side of the screen, for good reason.
