There are already quite many categories on the leaderboard, and even more categories are possible for this game. Since I don't like flooding a leaderboard with empty categories, I made this thread so that everyone can request a new category when you start running it.

If you want to request a new category, please make sure that you provide the following points:

1. A video of the run. This is important, since I won't add empty categories. Your run will be the first one in the category.
2. Some short notes about the runs, which rules does it follow (e.g. no glitches, current patch etc.). If there is a similar category, please also point out where the differences are.

So, I got asked a few times if there's a Discord server for Titan Quest. Up to now i mostly said "no, there is no server and i don't know how many people would use it anyway...". So I guess, let's find out how many people will use it: https://discord.gg/9s8Rck5

So, it looks like the Colossus Form Clips got fixed with the new Atlantis update. In my last attempt i did not get the clip in Memphis. While that is the more difficult one for me, it's also not possible to get into the corner for the clip in Chang'an.

Because of that we now have some problems on the leaderboard. There are currently three PBs that use the CFCs:

1. RadioDesk's WR in Any% AE (Hades)
2. His Coop WR with Curseduser in Hades Route
3. My 2nd Place in Any% AE (Hades)

As of now, with the knowledge about the game that i have, these three runs cannot be beaten anymore with the latest version of the game.

So we now have some options to handle this situation:

1. Do nothing, leave the runs as they are.
2. Check if downpatching is an option (Could be problematic because I don't know how steam handles downpatches that don't include a bought DLC) and let the Hades Category be run on downpatched versions.
3. Remove the 3 said runs from the current leaderboards so that there can be new times that include the Atlantis DLC 3.1 remove them entirely 3.2 move them to a misc category

Anyone wants to give his opinion on what to do here? If it just affected my own runs, i'd just take them from the leaderboards, but i don't want to remove the runs from other runners, especially when it changes who the WR-holder is (and especially in this case, the new/old WR holder would be me).

So since John came up with a NoSkillpointGlitch*-Run on Ragnarök and we have some new Runs for a "accomplised Hero" category, it might make some sense to restructure the Leaderboard.

I thought about restructuring it since "Any% (IT)" and "Any% AE)" are technically only 2 Sub-Categories of an "Any%", like it is set up within the "Any% (AE)" right now with Hades and Ragnarök. Also since we got some NSG-Runs lately, it might be a good choice to put them a bit more in the spotlight instead of them being a "filter" within the leaderboard for Any%.

So my Idea would be to Structure it like this:

1. 4 Main Categories: Any%, Any% Coop, Any% NSG and Any% Legendary.

2. Within the main Categories, there would be 4 Sub-Categories: Immortal Throne, Anniversary Edition, Ragnarök and Accomplised Hero. (For Legendary, i doubt that Accomplised Hero and IT subcategories would fit, since its just out of the way).

For most of these categories we have at least one run, and i guess it would give a better structure to the leaderboard without the NSG-Runs just being a "filter-addition" to the Any% category. Also, we would still be able to support each main version of Titan quest (oldschool immortal Throne, Base Anniversary Edition and Ragnarök), and the 2006 Base game could be added as well when we get runs for it.

So, what do you all think about that? Would that be a good idea or does anyone have a better idea in structuring the leaderboards?

*I prefer using "NoSkillpointGlitch" (or NSG) over "Glitchless", since NSG would make it clear that only the Skillpoint-Glitch is banned, tricks like locking Nehebkau in place would still be accepted (Some ppl might argue it is a glitch and thus, banned in glitchless).

Hi all,

I need some help, I'd like to get into running Cornerstone any% NCS. The thing is, I'm not able to pull the big jump on Dune island off, the one to get into the fortress by jumping off the big vase. Other big jumps (like getting the parachute early) work fine. Is there anything i need to know about this jump?

What i figured out is, that all runs are done on a different version then i have. I bought the game via steam, so i have the 3.1.7. All runs i saw on the leaderboard were done on 3.1.2. Anyone knows whether this could be a reason for the jump failing? Are there other known differences between these versions?

Also... is there a Skype or Discord group for runners of this game? would help a lot if i got more questions ;)

So, since i'm currently writing with several people about a possible Any% Legendary Category (Beating Hades on Legendary from a new Character file) i thought i'd open up the topic for some open discussion.

I'm Currently trying the Templar (Dream/Defense). Most damage comes from Reflecting enemy damage (Dream and defense both have a skill which throws back 60% of the incoming damage). Combined with some decent equipement and around 10k HP (and some DEX for evasion) you can get a quite good result. Currently i just passed the grey sisters in epic, Typhon in epic was no big deal, so i have a quite good feeling that it will work out the whole way.
