Should we allow the EN-JA swap for FF4PR Speedruns?
My testing has concluded that Original Japanese is fastest when it comes to fonts and speed. Followed by Simplified Chinese. English and the JA-EN font swap are both very similar time wise. Any font mods outside of that were significantly slower including a very tiny, thin font. I timed the intro with different fonts starting from new game start until the "controls" screen appeared. There was some variance due to ATB in the automated fights at the start of the game but not a lot. I came to the conclusion that any modification to the font was either on par or slower than the normal English font.
So the question is... Do you guys want to allow the font switch mod for Speedruns? Do you want to allow Custom fonts? Please leave your thoughts here or you can message me on discord privately and I will anonymously weigh in for you. I am not voting personally. Either way is fine by me. I just want to get the whole thing settled and behind us.
How does it work? i want to try out a glitched run at some point in time.
it seems the snes and genesis versions play differently enough that it warrants 2 categories. so i have done so.

Here's a video I made of how to preload an event, and use the spreadsheet to do the thing and drink all the mayo.
Here's the Quick and dirty.
sit at the blackjack table and keep telling them you dont want to bet Get the stain event, and they give you a lottery ticket immediately leave and save and quit at the title screen start your timer and press x on "vegas adventure" to start a new game. go to the craps table and dont bet by pressing x the stain event carried over and hopefully you just won $100,000. if not you can either play craps to try and get the money or reset and go back to step 1. once you get 100,000 it takes you to the high roller casino use the spreadsheet at the craps table to win 10,000,000

drink all the mayo,
I can't find any copies of this game for the NES, or a ROM for an NES Emulator, nor any record of one existing. I would very much like to play the game on my NES Emulator and can't find a way to do so.
Wikipedia says the games were only released for Arcade, Commodore 64, IBM PC, Mobile Phone, Sord M5, PlayStation.
I am quite confused and want to play this game. Please can you help?
Can we add a category for 9-0 season?
I am thinking that the only 2 categories we need are fast money win and $20,000. The others seem superfluous. Was thinking about changing snes version to be that way.
Added a practice caegory and removed the $50,000 category. you can acquire enough money for the game to make you retire, so i added this in it's stead.
Hey it's been 2 weeks since i submitted runs. I was wondering if they could get looked at at some point soon. Thanks!
What about a ccategory where you play against all 9 teams? like a win%
i already have a run to submit to it too.
