Phone recordings are permitted, so there shouldn't be any issue with that, so long as the entire screen is visible and not too many frames are dropped. If you want to get direct capture in the future, i recommend the Genki Shadowcast. it's only 40 bucks US and it works pretty well, according to people i know who've bought it. It mirrors your game screen into a window on your computer, so it's pretty good.

Adding a MMKG (Multiple Mario Kart Games) page would be too much for one single category.

Considering how most people play the game on their phones I doubt that making emulators into their own category would make it better.

There's an emulator checkbox you can tick if the run was done in an emulator. Then, if you go to filter, you can hide emulators and just show original hardware runs.

Technically they are separated, so long as people label their runs honestly.

As JDMI said, lag can cause inconsistencies in the end time of each level. This would make it so that runs are based on luck alone, and being forced to nerf your hardware if you wanna contend. On the other hand, RTA's downside is requiring faster menuing, which I assume most people can agree that it isn't a big deal.

New world "Dwarf Caves" and levels 31-40 have been added to the leaderboards. Have fun xd.

They sadly do not. Saves on the Epic Games version work real different to all other versions so we can't get them to work yet.
