@CritLuck did you try contacting the current moderator of the game? he should be able to add you (he seems active, last online 7 hours ago)
If you want a legit answer you should ask it in the pokemon red/blue forum section. but with that time you say, you wouldnt be last at the board ( http://www.speedrun.com/pkmnredblue#Any_No_Save_Corruption1 )
If you show the mods a video that shows some speedrunning gameplay they might be happy enough. For easyness of watching if someone wanna see it imho removing the intro might not be that bad of an idea. you can always make an IL leaderboard for your segments (if everyone uses them) and a seperate fullgame leaderboard in case someone runs that. If the videos show enough of the game for now use that to request the game and set up the leaderboard and get your run on asap.
@Sk1pBaSe you are allready a mod after you requested it and it got accepted ( http://www.speedrun.com/Skitchin ) you need to setup all the categories on your own
two screens (or an kinda banned dll file modification), capture the game from one screen, shrink it in OBS and add wsplit from your second screen to the screen.
Maybe finally Pokemon green will be accepted into the pokemon series <3 (hint hint that you guys maybe should discuss that also)

1ben99 did you try contacting the mods of the serie? there are 3 people that can add someone (atleast 2 out of 3 seem active on the site). talk to them first before coming to this thread.

you can request it at http://www.speedrun.com/requestgame and specify that its the gb version by adding (gba) orso at the end of the title, more games do that which have major differences in version and should be tracked seperate.
