There's already lots of videos of people doing it without missing any ticks, I don't see this being a really interesting or competitive category. It would rely on the rng of picking the 80 thiev lock and cracking the safe at the end.
It's possible to be fast enough to not wait for the robot at the beginning.
Other thing that is possible (don't have video): cboost between the two squids before boost2 so that I somehow get through without killing them
Would anyone be opposed to using this timing method for all RTA categories?
It was members non ironman all f2p quests. The category can be re-added if people do runs

Opinions have been voiced and I'd like to begin the decision process. If there are other solutions please list them in replies to this post.
I plan on doing a poll in which players will react to a message in a discord channel only visible to those who have the "runner" or "verified" rank with a clearly indicated emojii to react with for every option. This will allow people to vote for multiple options. If you have any ideas on how to improve the poll please let me know.

For the porpoises discussion a multilogging strat is any where the main speedrunning account (i.e. the one the speedrun is being completed on) takes an action which benefits it that it could not have taken if runescape was a singleplayer game.
Examples of multilogging strats:
¤ Picking up bones from when another player dies ¤ Picking up ashes from another player's fire ¤ Using a shield of arrav alt to trivialize that quest ¤ And more!

After playing around I found a few more places that shrek can clip into the scenery
It looks like when shrek is holding an object the scenery will pull shrek with the object if the object gets pushed around.

In this run they click new game at 0:01 and get puppy at 8:38 setting the rta time to 8:37. The rules for the any% rta category also say a timer must be shown in the video. The time listed in the run is 8:15 which is the correct ingame time of the run.
