3rd party procons are not as reliable, had some people in the discord complain about their 3rd party procon not being very responsive, don't know anyone who has stuck with one, I would recommend an official nintendo pro controller, they're well made and worth the 60 bucks, rather than take the chance at some random producer without knowing what inputs it can and can not possibly do compared to the nintendo produced one.

This would be way too long of a category and would have multiple exceptions for breaks, if you manage to do a run that does not pause a RTA timer and if almost the entire run has video proof since it's not going to be that manageable to keep a single recording going this long, we will consider it, but for now, it will not be added.

You read me wrong, having Solo/2P 3P 4P Co-op means the board would be consistent, and the Co-op side has issues when implementing this. Having just Solo for these type of ILs would not be a good look and unfair to those wanting to submit Co-op runs, it makes the current state of the board inconsistent in the part of ILs hence having different values (i.e. 2nd character for 2P only, 3rd character for 3P only, 4th character for 4P only) for a set of subcategories is literally impossible on this site. I have mentioned this in the official discord many times over the last year and nothing has been said about it. It's something this specific category has to face on multiple smash boards (see Smash 4, the 2nd Player filter value is added to the Main Category, which overrides the subcategories (look at the Solo subcategory), adding filters to subcategories is impossible on this site, except they added it to every single category for some dumb reason which is worse than just not having it at all, which is how we went with it on this board as well as Target Smash on the Brawl board.) If we were to implement these ILs, ALL subcategories of Solo/2P/3P/4P would have to SHARE THE SAME filter value, meaning they all would have basically the same filter option, so say if we make it say 2nd Character, sure it would be fine for 2P, but not for Solo/3P/4P, it's incorrect, and we cannot stack filter values upon filter values, this website does not do well with filter values. So atm it's either this way which is completely awful and incorrect idk why Smash 4 went with it, or no way because we are limited to our filter value options. Alternatively there could be a point scale but that's also inconsistent with the current state of the leaderboard, and it something that cyberscore has done with 2P Century Smash. Right now with Century Smash as a main category is fine, we don't have to be completely accurate with the 2nd Player, 3rd, and 4th, so it just asks for Player 1's character. Though I wised if we were actually able to add Filters to Subcategories, I would change that asap, and then we'd have a better looking and more accurate board, but because of this issue on the site, it's impossible right now. Filter values can only go over MAIN CATEGORIES (Century Smash), NOT SUB CATEGORIES (Solo/2P/3P/4P Co-op), and it overrides everything under it. That is the main problem here, it causes the board to be inaccurate, so the best way to solve this is to keep it as is now, we're not going to get more limit to filter options anytime soon. @D_YellowMadness

Century Smash ILs is an issue to 2P, 3P and 4P Co-op, because we are not forcing people to use the same character. Classic mode has it's system based off Player 1, Century Smash doesn't have a very friendly 2P, 3P, 4P system for Co-op with different characters. I don't think it will fit in ILs.

This was already discussed in the discord but i'll put it here anyway for others.

Times are not optimized in classic to make a change like that, it's more crucial in wol due to length, loads add up overtime, although it's only a filter and not subcategories, RTA should remain the main timing for all categories. I have personally timed loads myself to not even be 3s faster on digital. Obviously can vary depending on a specific switch/digital load, but it is extremely minimal. And 90% of people do not want to time every run with IGT, especially on a brand new game with many first time speedrunners.

I think since this is a major difference for WoL, i'll add a version filter.

There are no details yet on what was affected with WoL, which would be the only sensible category to have subcategories.

Since they follow a certain order like you said, I don't see a reason to switch the categories around, people are pretty familiar with where they currently are, SMBCE is a good example, where it just follows what's most recently added.

I have made a new main category that dedicates itself to having certain segments of the gamemode, as well as a popular way people have played it, we stuck with the same idea we had on the Brawl leaderboard, so these would be considered "main" categories rather than category extensions.

I have attempted to contact both moderators for Godzilla: Save the Earth for the past 3 months and neither have gotten back to me, through forums and twitter. One of the mods I was able to contact through twitter at the time for a moderator position on the Godzilla: Unleashed leaderboard, and now I have not gotten a reply back the few times i've messaged them about this other leaderboard. I would appreciate if I could be given a moderator position for the game to make changes to the leaderboard, additional categories, etc.
