On the other hand making a custum speedrunning language with no text etc. could prevent that small time saves are made against the rules which are barely noticeable.

Does it change speed? The whole panel comes at once i dont think so.
Its probably better to make english the standard because translating seems quite open so "custom" languages could be done.
Worst case would be a hunt to write the shortest legitamite language. Also languages other than english could be corrected and made longer again which gives an edge to old runs.

Timing should be from the last frame of "bad end" of level IX to the first frame of the closing animation after the bossfight.
This would be a test run:
I retimed every run in ANY% under 5 seconds. Timing method will now be from the first frame before the menu slides in to the first frame you can see the end sceen.
This is done because slight differences in timing can be ignored in most other cathegories but because this is a run of a second in the best case there is no other option.

Times where all retimed some gained some lost. In the End its more accurate which is the best outcome.
pros: -basically splicing proof -if we find something weird in a run we can easier replicate it with audioclues etc.

Runs will get closer and more perfect. We should switsch to timing with milliseconds at least for world records.
The best points to measure start and end would be the last frame where "New Game" is seeable and the first frame the closing animation starts at the end.

For practical purpose i would make this checklist:
-all levels finished without skipping -all ancient Inscriptions -going to heaven in level 6 -suicide in level 6 -alternate (true) ending
When you follow these requirements all achievments would be done in one run, but this should be clarified. using achievments is always unreliable.
I combined the Categorys which have the goal of capitulation into one in the style of "Form Nation" this will streamline the look of the speedgame

If you have ideas for new categories on this board you can present them here. Having a run prepared would help but is highly recommended. If you have a suggestion for "Form Nation" you can submit it to the category ideas subcategory. Think about what type of challanges are not present in the current leaderboard.
Discussion with other runners and refining the Idea on the Discord is always a good Idea!
Because the routing in any% and new% is becoming more and more identical I would like to propose to change new% a bit. Banning order66 (and similar strategies) and paratroopers would make the category more distinct and a challenge again. Runs which used this strategys would be moved to any%.
I would like to know what you guys think about this.

Also it seems like this condition is still the case if you change multiple times between the new Version and 1.3.3 Which is done often.
