And if you really want to submit a no video run, look here: https://www.speedrun.com/smo/thread/pc6bs/1
Yeah just do the timer challenge jump or scarecrowless (Scarecrowless is faster, but harder)
Any% until you defeat madame broode, then die in the poison in the chain chomp subarea
Doesn't seem like a very good category
He probably means glitches that were accidentally added in another update
I wanted to know how long a speedrun would take for completing the full story of Subnautica (Not just building the rocket), but couldn't find a category that does that. Is there a category for this?
Also I'm pretty sure the mods said they were never gonna make die% a CE
I say do nothing. I record my runs in tabletop using my phone, and if doing that gets banned or something, I would have no way to record my runs.
If you enter that area while in a capture, you'll enter the loading zone. This is known.
@linny356 You don't have to go through all the kingdoms, that's the entire point of the category
It's the last one
No that's just one moon difference
I say a timer challenge is a moon that has "timer challenge" in it. They're called timer challenges, and isn't that the point of the run?
Really? Even the ones that literally have "timer challenge" in them?
And does this mean the one in the deep woods in wooded counts because it's a scarecrow, even though it isn't called a timer challenge?
Also, I think it would be better if you weren't allowed to collect the moons beforehand. It would be easier to verify (You can scroll through the moon list at the end), and it would be easier to tell when it counts that you got the moons. For example, my route involves riding the Jaxi to one of the timer challenge moons in Sand, then warping to Moe-Eye Habitat. It's really hard to tell when you can warp after collecting the moon. If you weren't allowed to collect the moons beforehand, then it would be much easier to tell when you can warp, just open the map as soon as the "You got a moon!" thing ends.
The Softlock% Category has two things you can change: The version, and whether you have early punch card or not. Min caps could have something similar, changing the version and whether you have 2P or not.
Gonna do a run, just need someone to clarify: What counts as a timer challenge? A moon that has "timer challenge" in it? Or a scarecorw? Because there's a moon in Sand that has "timer challenge" in it that isn't a scarecrow, and there's a moon in Wooded that's a scarecrow but doesn't have "timer challenge" in it.
