A bunch of my IL runs in Mario Kart Fusion just randomly won't show up. They display on the preview, but when you click on the leaderboard for the level, it doesn't appear. Anyone know why this is or how to fix it? (To be clear these aren't NEW submissions, they're runs that have been on the board for almost a month)

I'm glad I got a 2ds XL capture card from merki when he still sold them.
The one for any game when you can view the WR history. At some point I vaguely remember that ILs would all be shown at the same time instead of 1 at a time, making them nearly impossible to read.
It's a really solid hack lol, lots of good stages. Really impressed by the wii u ports personally.
If you want to run some ILs in this game in another mario kart hack (this is recommended if you have a small SD card and don't want to only have 1 CT installed at a time), follow this guide made by Mango Man: https://www.speedrun.com/mkfusion/guide/s30rt
Please note: this isn't recommended for SPD tracks since they have a bonus speed modifier when playing in MKFusion. Also, just because another hack has a version of a track doesn't mean you're allowed to use that. Mario Kart Fusion often times will user either older/newer versions of tracks in comparison to CTGP which allow for different cuts, so replacing that track with the one from Riivolution is a requirement.
This is clean af. Whoever fixed the previously super clunky design for viewing ILs, thank you, this looks amazing. Is there a reason that full-game categories aren't viewed in the same way though?
By submitting real time, you add an extra column that doesn't need to exist. It'd be much better to simply submit the time you achieve in in-game time so that the 'real time' category doesn't show up while viewing IL boards.
Although something where it is shown, but always shown below other runs would be preferable if that's possible (in a similar way to how low% is handled).
So that way dolphin would either appear below or on its own and the main boards would still be mainly un-cheated. Either that or I'd have to make it so the top times couldn't be on emulator similar to mario sunshine.
The problem is majority of the playerbase (only a few have submitted times on src so far) are playing on dolphin. I understand the issue with cheating, which is why I was thinking of making a subcategory for dolphin runs. That's why I was asking about https://www.speedrun.com/speedrunning/thread/rhin9/1#wvq22 on the forums.
Would it be possible to have a subcategory of a subcategory? My plan is to have a subcategory for each release of a game (since some things were changed) and then a second subcategory for emu/not.
Alternatively if one platform would always just appear on top even if it had slower times (similar to min captures/items in other games) that would work too.
@1 No problem, glad you're insterested :)
- pls remove the real time column ^it's needed for the '8 random courses' category, unless there's some way to turn it off for ILs?
- how do I get this mod There's a guide: https://www.speedrun.com/mkfusion/guide/vst7z
- flaps pls ^That's not a bad idea, I'll add those
I've been time trialling for 3 years how haven't I seen that leaderboard ^I just submitted the leaderboard a month ago
First off, thanks for making this thread, I was dying reading half of these (personal favorite is the guy who submitted the Wall-E movie) I don't recall what game this was for, but I had a really weird one.
One one leaderboard I either currently moderate or moderated in the past, picture submissions were allowed along with videos. So someone submitted a link to a imgur of a youtube url. After going to the url, it was a processing video which had a link to another picture in the description to a google drive link. Once you went to the google drive link, it said you needed permission to view the content.
@survivalMichi more than 3x the custom tracks. There's 688 customs instead of 216. Also, while there is some overlap to CTGP, I don't think it includes all CTGP courses. Downside is, there's no way to save ghosts since the tech. to do that hasn't been made public, and it still launches off of riivolution instead of its own channel. Due to that being the case, there's no custom leaderboards on their own site somewhere and the only site tracking records for this hack atm is src. Also, mega-thunderclouds are enabled by default. Other than that, I don't think there's much, but the track count alone is the main difference (with there being generally a lot of solid tracks out there).
I'll probably run a few of the game in here if they're free in like 2-3 days from now. I know some people are doing trades, so I'd also love it if some people (who have wiis) could help fill out this level leadboard a bit with me https://www.speedrun.com/mkfusion
I've been working hard to fill it out and hope to get there by the end of this month. Downside is, I need other people with homebrewed Wiis to help with it :p
