MexicoYou can reset the steam achievements, but it is kinda tricky to do, so I'll just leave that part away from the rules. I am gonna start working on creating the new categories as soon as I can!

I think we should add the categories you mentioned, it would be great! Regarding the Cat%, I like the name and I think it fits perfectly, and considering how speedruns normaly work, I think the rules should be as you described, but the timer ends when you click on the chair and lose control over your character. This is only because, as I said, that's the usual way that speedruns work even in special categories. So, the rules for Cat% could be as follows:
- Find all 7 of the house cat instances. The indicator that appears on top of the screen when you look at the cat must be shown for it to count.
- Get to the ending credits, no additional restrictions.
- The timer starts in the moment you confirm that you want to start a new game.
- The timer ends when you clic on the chair and the last in-game cutscene starts to play.
In the case of the Story%, I personally think it would be more clear and make more sense if we just call it ARdcore%, the term "Story" is kinda subjective imo :p but let me know if you disagree with this, I wouldn't mind calling it Story%. The rules for this would be:
- Recover every AR Crew Record and AR Desktop item.
- Get to the ending credits, no additional restrictions.
- The timer starts in the moment you confirm that you want to start a new game.
- The timer ends when you clic on the chair and the last in-game cutscene starts to play.
And finally for 100% or All Achievements, I agree that in this game All Achivements means basically 100% of the game, but I think it would be more fair to call it All Achievements. Again, just my opinion, but I'll let you have the last call on the name for this hehe. The rules for this would be:

I personally like the concept of starting the timer when you hit "New Game", but I think that the moment to stop the timer shouldn't be when you do the input to take the last photo, because after that there is a dialog that Alex can do, so that's a part of the game, and that means that the time that dialog can take is a part of a run as well, in my opinion.
On that matter, I would like to vote to make the rule for that to be "timer stops when the screen goes black after the last photo", like TurtleByte suggested, but even on the last cutscene, you have to pick a dialog for Alex when she begins to talk about herself, so that counts as a part of the game as well.
So... overall, I think that the most accurate way to put it would be to stop the timer when the screen goes black after Alex watches the last photo. I would like to read your opinions about this :)
Also, I think that more clarity on the rules would be great! ("timer ends on photo" doesn't really say where exactly it should end).

Thanks for the response Turbodog, maybe I am not that used to runs measured in RTA. But you didn't really answer my question. I'm still wondering if it's not permited to pause the game. If I make a run and I need to pause the game in between, my run doesn't count? (being the case when I pause my timer as well as the game in the same time, of course)
As I was reading the recent update to the rules, I encountered that now it says that the time is measured in RTA, without pausing the timer in between. So, this last part about not pausing the timer in between... does it mean that pausing the game (as well as the timer) is not permited? or does it refer just to the fact that the time the game is paused is not counted? I think that part could be better explained :)
Hello, I'm SirArthvr, I'll try to explain my problem... I got a run that now is on the 9th place of the leaderboard. Back then my name was "ArthurAuditore". Few days later I got a better run that I submited to speedsouls, but I was waiting for this site (speedrun.com) to change my name to my actual name, which is SirArthvr, to upload my new run. The problem is that while I was waiting for my name to be changed, someone submited my run, but it was not linked to my account because I was still ArthurAuditore here. Now I got my new name, but my runs are still considered as different, so is it possible that someone link my better run to my profile and remove the other one? Thanks in advance :D

Hey there! I just wanted to point out that the game is officially called "Dreamfall Chapters". I know that the wikipedia says "Dreamfall Chapters: The Longest Journey", but in the official Red Thread Games web page (the developers of the game) it's just Dreamfall Chapters, and that's also the case on Steam. It would be nice if you could change the name to it's real name ^_^
