Once you finish a full run of 6+ days, you will get access on the loading screen to choose 'New Game +', so I think you may need a full regular run completed to get access to it. NG is (I'm assuming), day 1 new game started fresh.

If your account is over a month old you can request to become a moderator due to inactivity of the current one. I'd do it myself but my account isn't old enough yet. Congrats on the WR dude!!
