I agree on N64 / EMU / VC split because of Kaze's new Sapphire Version that has changed star heights, changed coin amounts and also the frameskipping in some parts of the game. VC has slow resets due to the classic controller text but slightly faster loading times which would save a lot of time druing a 30 star run.
Nobody is able to pull off that many firsties with such a high speed. So I doubt it would be possible to run such a category on Switch.
You need to extract them in a correct order iirc. I tried to get the rom work on PJ64 1.6 but it didn't work for me. I've heared that it runs perfectly on Mupen64. I ran it on Everdrive on N64 which worked great!
Its called Project64Spy, just google it and you'll find it.
Shindou for 120 is interesting imo because you can't do any BLJs (HMC 100c route or even HMC Maze BLJ)
There is a Japanese Non Stop Rom for everdrive.
