On Samsung S7, I use the native recording app, Game Screen Recorder, or DU Recorder to record my games. Each has its perks. For the timer, I use a simple app called Floating Speedrun Timer. It can get in the way of your playing, so make sure its in a good spot before you start recording.

On Amazon Kindle, I use SmartPixel to record, upload to Facebook, download, and add a timer in a video editing software called ShotCut. I'm not sure if this specific game is on that device, though.

Web Resources On Google Chrome, if you play on a computer, you can record using Fraps and use LiveSplit to time. Fraps: http://www.fraps.com/download.php LiveSplit: https://livesplit.github.io/downloads/

What do you use? Your suggestions will help new runners!

Moderation rejection needs a few updates:

• We should be able to go to a different tab and come back without getting the "Error, Invalid Token" message.
• We should be able to highlight text and Right Click + Copy our message.
• We should see a larger text box in case we need to write a message more than 70 characters. (While writing the message, not after sending it).

Update: 1, 2, & 3 occur in Chrome. 3 also occurs in Firefox.

Bonus:

• "Resubmission Required:" A new type of rejection that invites the player to resubmit their current run after fixing it. Uses yellow warning colors instead of red.
• "Verify with message:" A new type of verification that allows mods to leave a personal message for the runner in green.

Hey! I'd like to take over for https://www.speedrun.com/Whats_Inside_The_Box

Reasoning:

• Mod has been inactive for five months.
• Mod has not responded to forum post about active moderation for over 2 weeks.
• Mod's only method of contact is an inactive Discord account.
• I moderate 40+ games, including web games like "What's Inside The Box?"

If you watch a Danganronpa run, there is a lot of activity in it (i.e. mini-games, movement in an environment, etc.). Same with Life is Strange and other games that act more like stories. If your visual novel has interactivity, then I would resubmit and note at which points the visual novel becomes a game.

Hey friends! Since there has been a change in moderators over the past year, there have been a few changes in the rules. I require that every run be recorded by screencast, with audio and a timer in one corner.
