Gamer's right, vid proof is the way to go for all mobile runs.
Retro, have you considered moving the square diagonally for a quicker level 9/10?
I'm not great at execution but I tried it out here:
Google introduced this tool called web.dev to help web developers assess their websites:
So I ran speedrun.com thtough it, and got these results: https://lighthouse-dot-webdotdevsite.appspot.com/lh/html?url=https://speedrun.com
I think taking even the first suggestion from these results would optimize load times for the site. Serve images in next-gen formats Estimated savings: 8.25 s Image formats like JPEG 2000, JPEG XR, and WebP often provide better compression than PNG or JPEG, which means faster downloads and less data consumption.
Take a look, devs :)
Update 8/31/2023 Can't figure out how to run the report again but I assume the website is doing better now that it's in React, so I'm marking this as complete :))
Hey Sizzl! Check the edit I made to my original post. Join the mobile speedrunning discord and we can help ya out! My initial thought is that you can find the record button on the main menu screen of the iOS, but I'm not sure which model you have.
Official response from Bush's Beans on FaceBook: "We're glad to hear you were a fan of our Bean Dash! Unfortunately that game has been discontinued. We'll let our team know you miss it!"
:'(
Followed this link: https://www.bushbeans.com/en_US/apps To this link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bushbeans.psyop.runner&hl=en
Looks like Bean Dash is gone forever.
Hey yall! The leaderboard is split because iOS cannot handle the multitouch strat I use in Android. For instance, on the level with three buttons, I use mutlitouch to pass right through, but an iOS device could not.
Cheers!
Well, that was quick! Thanks for taking the challenge. That also tested my eyesight lol. Very hard to tell when boss's bar is empty :D
Also, we are talking about your WR in the Nitrome Speedrun Discord! Join us! Link is in the sidebar.
Final note, a user named @JDH reminded me of a glitch in my run where I clip through a wall:
Might be cool to figure out how to replicate it. But I've been trying for several minutes in the same spot without results. Hmm.
Update: Oddly I can't even pass level 1 right now in Firefox. The game freezes (punintended) when the bird goes in front of the snowflake. Very weird. Works in IE though.
Hmm, thought I posted here earlier but the post didn't save. Maybe due to the password change thing that happened.
Anyways, I agree with Shiken on Reg Mods accessing the audit log. As for having mods see edits on re-verify runs, it would be nice, but I don't think that's a big issue -- mods can write something in the comments if needed.
Hey msbmteam! That's a nice find! Something similar is copy pasting the url of the question throughout tabs, and doing a quick tab switch to answer the same question many times. We've banned this skip as it is not within the spirit of Free Rice.
See this: https://www.speedrun.com/Free_Rice/thread/7434f
I guess I'll add the ban to the rules for clarity :D
Try this! Games > All Games > Sort by Active Players You can also sort by run count or player count. It's a great way to find games to watch :D
No, thank you, Rodrigo! Of course, this doesn't have to be done all today :)
That sounds right to me! Also I figured you'd be interested -- and I'm glad you are, because you rock at retiming :D Also there's this awesome app called Time Calculator on Android that lets you plug in stuff so you don't have to do it all in your head.
I just retimed my old run because it didn't have a timer in the first place. But the other 15 still need to be done -- I'd help out today but I have a big paper to write haha. Thanks for your help! You are now a Super Mod!
Hey all!
I'd like to begin timing on the first frame that the marshmallow hits 0 ft (after falling). This will help with retiming -- it will be very clear when to start time now, and submissions that do not include clicking "Start Game" can now be verified easily.
With the rule change, I'm looking for a new Super Mod (or multiple) to help me retime all runs (including obsoleted runs). I retime by using "." and "," within YouTube to advance frame by frame.
If you're interested, let me know! There are 16 total runs to retime. After retiming, I ask that you leave a comment on the run saying "Retimed using new start-time rule." Even better would be to show your retiming math in the comment!
Hey! Looking for a proper emu to play this game. I keep finding a version of this with full color but nothing else.
