Hey everyone! Using your bug reports and feedback, we have a mini update for the new Runs Awaiting Verification page inside the Moderation Hub:
•“Edit Run” button now properly brings you to the edit run page • Exclude non-games (series, marathons) from the game list • Properly styled usernames for banned users
• Allow run video and description fields to be expanded or collapsed • Increase size and improve location of run time • Add “View Run” button that brings you to run page • Support Bilibili video embeds • Support Nicovideo embeds • Add game information to top of right column • Add settings to configure default state of videos and descriptions (expanded or collapsed by default) • Show run date as absolute date (e.g., 2021-09-21) instead of relative timestamp (2 days ago) • Miscellaneous improvements to styling
These changes should address some of the requests for customization and quality of living changes that we’ve received. We will continue to make improvements to the Mod Hub including adding some of the more complex features already requested.
Please keep reporting any bugs you come across and continue to send your feedback. It is absolutely invaluable, and we appreciate you for helping us create better tools for Speedrun.com.
To those who don't like the new RaV page, just a reminder that /runsawaitingverification is still totally usable! Although if you do have complaints about Mod Hub, please let me or someone else on the team know so that we can add it to our list of stuff to look into. Thanks! :D
We just released the brand new Mod Hub, with the first iteration including an overhaul for the Runs Awaiting Verification page! Please feel free to respond down below with your questions, concerns, and feedback!
Hey! So yeah this game is being promoted as part of a partnership with Digerati (Severed Steels publisher). Our goal is to create closer relationships between the people who make games, and the speedrunners of those games.
Mattwla (The developer) as well as Digerati have been working super closely with the speedrunners of Severed Steel during its demo and beta stages as far back as 2 years ago. There are a lot of devs who aren't aware of speedrunning or unfortunately sometimes are even anti-speedrun, and hopefully in the future there will be closer relationships between devs and the speedrunning community. By working with developers and publishers, i think we can work towards that future.
Also, Severed Steel is a pretty sick game - i dumped 100 hours between the demo & beta speedrunning and making a workshop map ahaha
i dont think anything will ever be as legendary as streets 1:12 ^
GG!!

I might try to find a spooky game to run for October, i tried to run RE7 in 2019 but chickened out LUL
