Tim_ is one of my favorite speedgames ever, and fits the description of short, good, pixel, and webgame.
I'm not sure if any of these are exactly what you are looking for, but here are some interesting boss 'skips' in games that I run.
Mobility! - If you reset immediately after touching a checkpoint in the final boss, for some reason it registers another hit on the boss and allows you to skip a phase. It can be done on either the second or third phase, and depending on which category you are running it is faster to skip either phase. Here is a video of the skip being done on phase two.
Platformer Game - This is my personal favorite skip simply because of how strange it is. To do the skip, you first push the boss to the right side of the screen. Then, you jump into a wall of lava and land a hit on the boss at the same time as you die. This sends the player back a few levels before the bossfight, and prevents the boss from despawning. If you go fast enough, you can make it back to the boss arena before the boss despawns. Doing so spawns a second boss. The second boss can deal damage to the first boss, and vice versa, so by pushing both of them to the right side of the screen you can get them caught in a loop where they both damage each other immediately, resulting in a 20 second overall timesave. I probably explained that poorly, so here is a video of it being done in a run.
Tim_ - The normal way to beat this boss is to dodge his attacks, and wait until he does an attack where he lowers his hands to try and crush you. You can stand on the back of his hands and ride them up and hit him in the head. You can skip the boss by creating a platform underneath you, and jumping up to the head early. From there, you can stand on the very edge of the hand and jump to stay alive and stay on the hand. Normally, the claws kill you but the very edge of the hand is safe. You can hit him three times this way. It saves roughly a minute from doing the fight normally. Here is a video of the skip. The reason the title says it's only five seconds faster is because there is an alternate way to do the skip that is easier but slower.
Super Blue Boy Planet - In the final boss of this game, you can skip the boss by jumping on the boss and flying through a hole in the ceiling. You can exit the arena and just walk to the end of the level. It is not very hard but is very RNG dependent. Over time, multiple ways of doing the skip have been discovered which allows the skip to be done on most patterns. Here is a video of it.

In the future, ask questions like these in the forums for the game you are playing, not the general site forums.
You can try emailing support@speedrun.com but I don't think you can change anything other than capitalization until the cooldown is over.
It isn't always clear what makes a game "generic" or not. Puzzle games in general are allowed and get accepted all the time. Games don't need to be "famous" to be accepted, so if I were you I'd submit it. The worst that can happen is the mods say no. If you want to increase the chances of your game getting added, I recommend filling out the additional notes field in the game request with an explanation of why you believe the game meets the requirements laid out in the game request rules.
The form for requesting a game can be found here: https://www.speedrun.com/knowledgebase/supporthub/request-game-or-series Make sure to read the game request rules and the moderation rules if you haven't already.
why does elo want people to not give them money i don't understand

I want to play VVVVVV sometime since I like difficult 2D platformers. I've also heard wonderful things about celeste but I'm scared to spend money on it in case I don't like it. I did try playing celeste classic and I wasn't too fond of it, so I probably won't ever buy the game.
@Pear the user has submitted 2 runs, they just haven't been verified. you can see this on the "info" tab
If you delete your runs they can be rejected, and there isn't really any reason to delete PBs at all. I'd keep them public. According to the moderation rules, mods have up to 3 weeks to verify runs, so if your runs haven't been verified in over a month, send a message to the game moderators and ask them to verify your run.

At this point, it is inevitable that @Ivory will be reading the entirety of this thread out loud. There are just 10 pages left. Keep going we are almost there
Here are a few good ones:

A lot of logos are just speedrun.com styled in the same way as text from the game so I tried not to include ones like those. I like them but they aren't as unique.
For spotify, there are two options you can select; I believe the "show" one is for podcasts. For the youtube URL, you should file a bug report via the support hub.

If you have a piece of cardboard, you can connect the two keys externally so that pressing one presses both, but that might be cheating lol. What I would do in that situation is not focus as much on the keybindings but on pressing them in sync. Having good keybinds is helpful but ultimately it's a skill based trick and the more you practice it the more consistent you'll get.
