yeah I feel like it is, well they may not be the best for one but they are still your best your pb:) if it was wr at one time anyway it meant it was the fastest known one at the time which is still really cool. Sometimes there are remnants of old strategy that the person in wr might not even thought of doing so the next person who wants to get WR could combine them. Some of this is really subjective of course

On the spooky cats board you can still get wr they beat your run by a few seconds why not watch there run see where they improved the time and try to go for it yourself it might be fun and you may even get wr back you never know :) now that would be really cool to see (personally I don't like the wr run for spookycats because steam covers up there full screen in the first level and even later on even though it is for a tiny bit still and it looks like because of that movies and tv tab they are playing a prerecorded video they might not be but that would defiantly encourage me more to watch your run anyway if you want that reason too)

And personally for games I love I like watching lots of the runs on the board because to me I enjoy watching the games not just the fastest way to do a game but just runs of that game seeing how they differ or just other cool stuff.

( I would put this in guide section but it just a useless ending really)

-I would take the canteen at the beginning because going to the river can waste a lot of time, only try

also do the hut skip

Go to the 2nd beach area besides the river with the second shelter.

-make sure to pick up the items for the kindling, if its not raining always use it besides your shelter other wise you will get a small cut scene sometimes.

-to go to the river when it is raining or you have no food (the river swells when it rains bringing it closer to you.

-the clam always re spawns everyday so use this to your advantage if you get really lucky with fish rng this is probably the fastest method and will keep you full for longer but no way to manipulate it.

you can last a few days without food and water if you really want to sit things out, so you can be a little more reckless then I was. you lose 20 health per night if you don't have any food or water.

(I was very cautious in my run so its probably best to be a little more reckless)

you don't even need a timer (unless the rules state it) the splits are more for you anyway ^^ so it doesn't matter if you mess up the splits a bit. The run will need to be recorded though from start to finish per the rules. You also get people who add a timer in post. I would say it should be fine, live split has a button so you can skip a segment if you want to. you can set this button up yourself or use default. hope this helps some sorry if it is confusing :)

Rom hacks are allowed on speedrun.com just depends if it has enought gameplay :) yeah you need to record a run yourself and upload that ^^

I think any% so completing the game as fast as possible is good especially if it isn't a long game :)

@Karatetiger10 you need to wait at least 3 weeks for your run to not be verified before posting here. Yesterday really is not a lot of time for a mod of the game to verify a run. ^^

Dein time is invalid he was meant to start from new game but he starts his timer a lot later in to the run just after the text boxs once you are already on the island this would properly make him second place anyway. but he didn't follow the rules.

It is really sad because Dein when I see him around seems like a really nice person and I know he didn't do that on purpose just either extra time needs added to his run or it needs removed he would need around 29.35 seconds added to his time which would make him second place if he has the same timing as MeGotsThis. I feel kinda bad :( but I wanted to mention this

Awee sorry I couldn't help you I hope someone else has advice :) yeah I draw a lot haha ^^

I know this is a bit different, but I had a really bad hand issue due to drawing for hours and hours with no breaks every single day. I basically had to stop using the hand full stop I take more breaks now every few hours or so when I get in to a drawing session. maybe trying a new controller for a while just to practice might help like using your touch screen instead with an emulator on there for emerald, because your hand will be in a different position. also resting your hand on something soft helps me a lot so maybe you could try that too? I guess you could also try and use your mouse with your left hand although it won't be perfect will help you memorising where everything is meant to be, I had to do that with my drawings happened during inktober so I couldn't stop haha I have no clue if any of these things will help you but I hope so.

I hope your hand feels better soon it really sucks.
